“A photo with a song” Day 3 of 7.
I was challenged by my friend @yeats2013 to post a photo and then put the lyrics to a song that goes with the image for 7 days. Instead of challenging others I’m going to be asking for volunteers. I’m happy to say that my friend @chefjon354 volunteered to do it also. Anyone else want to play?
I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.
A tree whose hungry mouth is pressed
Against the earth’s sweet flowing breast;
A tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;
A tree that may in summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;
Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.
Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.
Mario Lanza is my favorite singer of this poem. “Trees” was originally published in Trees and Other Poems. Joyce Kilmer. New York: George H. Doran Company, 1914.
Mother natures archictecture.
An enormous ancient strangler fig tree towering above all else in the rainforest dwarfs some mates exploring below.

Baby bamboo holder 🌱 using nature, for nature!
Surrounding your home with plants is a wonderful mood & energy booster. Bamboo's a great starter plant for those still finding their green thumbs! This stuff grows quick and easy. Which means....if you grow one plant, you can steal some stems to make more.
These cute natural stands (made with 💚 from a fallen tree) are lovely for transplanting larger plants into new smaller ones : the more the merrier!
