Tons of snow, four incredible ride days with family, and now I’m ruined after experiencing @arapahoe_basin So much un-groomed intense territory on the mountain and through the trees that has me excited for more. I’m thankful to be back in one piece and in the warm temperate weather! 🔹All photos taken on an iPhone 8+
Two things I love: this baby and thrift store finds.
I made Rhys a cute, little romper as the first project with my sewing machine. It’s a little rough around the edges(and still unfinished) but its so adorable. I had the idea to take old Hawaiian shirts and reuse them with the same sewing pattern. I’m so excited to see how it’ll turn out! Todd thinks I’ve gone “full hippy” 🤪 and truthfully he may be right 😅
My husband and I have this “deal” with each other. If you think something nice say it.
Because ya know it’s soooo easy to say the bad stuff to people when you think it.
I meant to post this last week but life happened.
Y’all know I am a solo traveling mama with 2 kiddos, 4 & 5 years old. And making a Family Travel Vlog while we travel, so you my friends, can travel wherever we go.
We flew Spirit Arlines last week, as we do from time to time. Destination...Phoenix Arizona.
Y’all I have flown MANY MANY MANY flights with these kids. So imagine me having to get 2 young kids and carryon luggage and drop off the stroller at gate check all alone. It’s a struggle and I seriously get this little feeling of anxiety right before we start to board the plane because I don’t want to be the one holding up a line.
Last week on our flight to Arizona and back home to Texas the flight attendants @spiritairlines were MORE than accommodating.
They offered to help me to my seat, help place my luggage and on the way back when the top to my wagon was missing the flight attendant who was on the plane didn’t just hush me away. This sweet lady made a call and then later found me at baggage claim to see if I was able to locate it.
Y’all when I shared this with my husband he was like “that really made you happy huh.” No. Happy is an understatement.
Those flight attendants went above and beyond what they had to do, to assist a mom, I am sure they could sense was a little uptight.
So to stay true to the culture of “The Dorsey Family” ....if you think something nice say it...Spirit Airlines your flight attendants were top notch! They were rock stars!
Spirit Airlines flight attendants, thank you for making this solo traveling mama’s trip a little easier. We will DEFINITELY fly with you again.

Okay so. I gotta level with you, family. This is ~*~*v embarassing*~*~ to admit in the CLT foodie world, but we finally went to @iniziopizza for the first time!!! I KNOW. The first two times we tried to go, everyone in Charlotte beat us there, so onto the back burner it went. And retrospectively, what a foolish decision...this pizza was worth the wait!!! I love a goooood Italian pie and this lil’ guy took us straight back to Italy...except we traded in the ~*~one too many~*~ glasses of Italian vino we paired the ‘za with in Rome for some A+ local brews (@legionbrewing Juicy Jays, to be exact!) •
I feel like I’ll be swooning over this pizza for a loooong time. And I feel about 99% sure we’ll be back within the next week 😂 Also okay YES this preset makes my face look orange, V NOTED V AWARE......but we could also reason that it makes me look tan and like I’m twinning with the pizza sOoOooOo I’m gonna roll with it whatever wat u gone do 🤷🏻♀️
We didn’t pop any tires, and if you’ve driven down the road to Angel’s Billabong, you’d know why that feels like such a success. Apparently this spot looks incredibly different when the tide is high. If we had more time, I’m sure we would have sat here all day just to see it.
Cheers to a life-changing four days in Fiordland & hanging with Mt. Cook! I hope I never forget the memories I made on this trip. I'm thankful for @instagram for making the world a little smaller so I could discover @williampatino_photography three years ago and find myself across the world shooting with him. He is one of the only people I've given the titled, "one of my favorite photographers". I can't wait to get home and properly shoot the beauty of Oregon from what I've learned!
Traveling with kids allows them to become great travelers.
When you travel frequently with your kids they learn the ins and outs of how to travel. The older they get the more they'll know what to expect and plan for while traveling. It’s an awesome life skill.
just made the mistake of looking through old travelling photos and now I’m sad ☹️ _____
iPhone 5 quality images definitely haven’t aged very well 👎🏼

I've known Richard since I was 14. It boggles my mind that I've known him and other pals for 10+ years. Life is crazy and awesome and I'm glad to have these peeps in my life.
I also realized that Candy and I have a bunch in common and we're definitely hanging more when I come back out to visit! Let's go to new wave nights and listen to cumbia!
P.s. I have 2 new Vlogmas vlogs up on my channel (uploading the last few soon) if you wanna watch. One of my favorite days was day 23. What a great time👌
Who's excited for some new Philippines travel vlogs?! 🇵🇭 Currently editing the first episode now 😁 Get ready for a new epic travel series!
