Our pride and joy back when it was sunny (does anyone remember those 2 days of sunshine we had?) 🙃🤩

Before I realised what I was letting myself in for when Steven convinced me to climb up to this... 🤦
We're planning on doing a UK road trip very soon and would love to hear any suggestions you have on where to go, where to stay and any hikes you recommend (because we're far too indecisive when it comes to holidays!) 🌲🌲🌲

The beautiful Chamonix, with snowcapped mountains up above and boiling hot sunshine down below 🌞
It's all fun and games until you need to decide what to wear on your hike up the slopes...or your hike down to the ice cave! Should you wear shorts and flipflops or triple layers, thick socks and winter boots? 🤷 We're yet to master the art!
P.S. How pretty does the River Arve look here? 🌷💦 Most of the water comes from the Mer de Glace, the largest glacier in France - which you can actually go into via the ice cave (the constant dripping only made us feel slightly uneasy!) 🏔️🌨️

Wandering where the WiFi is weak 📴
We absolutely love exploring new places via foot 👣 Hiking our way up mountains and being amazed by the view each time we climb that little bit higher...and just when we think the views can't get any better, we reach the peak and are blown away even further ⛰️ It's even better when we're surrounded by few other people, away from the hustle and bustle down below or in the main tourist spots and able to take a break from the busy world 👨👩👧👦 Exploring without a map, guide or plan, simply following our intuition and seeing where it takes us 💭
That said, Steven definitely has the better sense of direction to stop us getting completely lost when we're out and about 📍

Getting lost in the forest 🌲
We finally got round to adding our stickers onto the truck windows...now just to find somewhere to put the patches and then to grow our little collection on our road trip 🏞️

Sunny drives in the truck... 🌞
For many reasons, this has definitely been one of the best weekends in a long time and the best part is that it's not even over yet! Time for a BBQ with the family before stargazing with friends (before yet another BBQ tomorrow!) 🔭💫

Swipe to see our views last night 🥰➡️ We are LIVING for this weather here in the UK right now! The best part? It's Easter, so we've got a 4 day weekend ahead 😍
What have you got planned? ✌️

The reason we love the climb ⛰️ During our short visit to Switzerland, we fell in love with the views (and the chocolate) 🇨🇭🍫 We have so many more adventures planned in this beautiful country and we can't wait to go back!

Is this even real? Looks like a fairytale to us 👀 The beautiful Scaliger Castle from lake view - one of the many pretty sights we saw travelling the lake by boat! 💦 We also saw it from birds eye view up on the mountain ⛰️🦅🏰

Mountains aren't just funny, they're hill areas 🤷 We can't wait to get our walking boots (or trainers) back on and start exploring again this summer ⛰️🤙

The views you've seen so far have been from up above in the mountains, but the views from down below in each little town are just as beautiful 😍
We took this photo just as we were about to board our ferry to go back to our little town on the lake - which beats taking a taxi or bus, any day! The ferry stopped at each port so we could have a nosey at all the other towns on route! 🚢🌊

Throwback to the day we explored Monte Baldo and met a lovely solo traveller who took this photo for us 🤙
We love the opportunity travelling gives us to not only see new sights (and eat good food 🍝), but meet new people from all over the world and learn about their experiences 👫🌍

Throwback to eating as much gelato as humanly possible and watching the world go by as the sun sets in Lake Garda 🍦 Do you prefer sunset or sunrise? 💭🌞

Beautiful views over Man O' War Beach 🌞
We could hardly believe our luck with the weather - we definitely chose the best day to visit during our road trip to Dorset! We dined at the Man O' War Restaurant which exceeded our expectations (it was the only restaurant within close proximity and located on a campsite!) with lovely food, a great atmosphere and even better staff! 🥰🍴🥂

Stair Hole is a small cove just west of Lulworth Cove, formed through the erosion and collapse of a cave ⛰️
Looking out over the wing of an A380 as blue skies and sunshine🌞 stir us from our sleep.
The nighttime flight from AUH to LHR departs at 2am local time and lands at around 7.30am into London. They used to offer a full dinner service🍾🍸🥩🍲🍷🍰 on this flight and whilst that's still an option, should you choose it, the service is now geared towards an immediate sleep followed by a full breakfast🍳🥐🥓☕🍊
They make the beds pre take off 🛌 and encourage people to get changed into their sleepwear then too. I even went for a rather daring chamomile tea before wheels up to set the mood😜
Peraonally I'm happy with the change. I find it hard to enjoy a big meal at 2am when I know I have work the next day.
Waking up early and enjoying a double macchiato ☕ in bed after a good night's sleep💤 is a far better option as far as I'm concerned.
Ultimately though the choice is yours and that's true luxury.
Our final breakfast in India🇮🇳, served within the expansive and ornate dining room of our Royal Suite at the Leela Palace 🕌, Udaipur.
Make sure you check out the full room tour on my IGTV!📺
This is without a doubt the most impressive suite I've ever stayed in, made all the better by the impeccable butler service provided by @sendipesh.
I've always said that room service breakfast 🍳🍅🥐☕ is one of life's great pleasures but a set up like this takes it to a whole different level.
What about you? Are you happy to do forego a more extensive buffet if it means you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast in your dressing gown🧖♀️?
