Did you know that Mayans considered cenotes the gateway to the underworld? And this one seemed like the grand entrance 😆 I tried to google the history of this cenote, and why it has a platform and found nothing. All I know is Suytun means "center stone" and is one of the most photogenic cenotes in Yucatan.
Btw, I posted the previous cenote photo on FB and my aunt started to leave comments that they saw images of headless people, snakes, face, etc.. I actually found one, and tried to find more but thats it! They sure have a creative minds 🤭🧐 Can you spot one? 🧐👀 #traveldiary#traveldiaries

From mountains to the underworld 💚
When I was searching on places to visit in Cancun, I stumbled upon a blog about the best Cenotes to visit; and this is one of them! I was amazed on how beautiful it is on the photo, I searched IG and found more stunning photos and I told myself I'd go here. So I did, and dragged my friends here 😂😁 We were the first group to see this cenote that morning and we walked down the stairs that lead us to a dark cave. It was creepy but, when I saw it I was in awe and I just started taking photos lol. 📸:instaboyfriend 😂
