Let's continue the story of this lighthouse 😉 So the bike ride to the lighthouse was quite enjoyable and fun, bumpy road and beautiful landscape with the beach just next to it 👌
But when I arrived to the lighthouse my excitement dropped quite quickly. I was expected by the guards of the place... Of course Tanguy! How dumb I was to think I could freely trespass here 🤪
So they first told me I had to pay the entry, but if I couldn't go further I said I didn't want to pay. So anyway as they were going to close they told me I needed to go all the way back to the entrance, without even being able to take a few pics of the lighthouse up close 😢
So here I am on my back, a bit sad to be so stupid, but most of all sad to miss the opportunity to shoot great pictures 📸
The story is not over though, last part in the next lighthouse picture 😅
My first proper camera was purchased TWO days before I left New Zealand, bound for a new life in the U.K. via the USA - Traveling around by car, mixing driving with sightseeing and camping at night for three months we covered 32 States.
I used my camera on a daily basis getting the photos developed and printed (pre digital days) at Wall-Mart.
My photos were PANTS.
One of the first things I did on arrival after getting a job in North Wales was to join a camera club - that’s where I met the BossTog - (Eifion) and the rest as they say is history!
Learning how to use my camera properly has undoubtedly changed my life - it’s helped me to build a business, it’s helped me to capture memories in photos I’m proud of and it’s helped me to form long lasting friendships that have a common bond.
They say a photo is a powerful and emotive tool - they are not wrong.
Have a wonderful Tuesday and if you can, take one photo that sums up your Today 😊📷

Stars through the bridge ⭐🌉 Spitzkoppe, Namibia. .
The moon was almost full so the conditions weren't as good for astro photography however It was pretty hard to get a bad photo with this natural Rocky bridge in the frame. .
My setting were 10' second shutter speed, ISO 5000 and an aperture of 2.8.
Let me know what you think ⬇
