Our Bungalow Hut
Gili Air, Lombok, Indonesia
So this little hut is where we have been living for the last 10 days 😀 with 11 more to go
We have it set up like our mini house and even got a hammock to relax in on the porch, its aqua, blue and light green which reminds me of the ocean and as you can see Tam is relaxing in there for the photo, we also hung our clothesline up to dry out all our clothes that we have been washing by hand, then we got our peddle bikes parked outside, we also bought a kettle to make coffee in whenever we need, we went to the local market and got some supplies and snacks, lots of apples and oranges for Dali and even a loaf of bread and some peanut butter, and to top it all off some cups of noodles that we had for supper last night, all you have to do is add the hot water from the kettle, we also picked up some beach badminton rackets yesterday to play with like ping pong as Dali calls it and Dali Man has all his other racecar toys, so we have been all set up and it feels like living on the island is just what we needed.
Tirta Gangga Water Palace, Bali Indonesia
As we walked through the gate this is what we saw. Such a cool spot with a huge water pond that had so many staues spread out over the water making them look as if they were floating.
There were also all these stone steps floating like a path on the water that you could walk on and hover over the pond. Dali Man followed Iluh to the edge of the pond and there were so many fish swimming inside as he looked down to check them out again smiling how kids do.
So he grabbed out his bag of fish food and started to throw some in the water to feed all the fish.
They came swimming over as he dropped more and more filling up the pond with hundreds of little pebbles. They were all huge Koi fish and they gobbled up those pebbles like I would a poutine.

Night's Under Mount Agung Volcano, Villa Sidemen Bali
This place is so magical under the moon light as night time seems like a different world and the stars they hover above you so near to Mount Agung it feels like you could reach out and touch them pulling one down to put in your pocket.
Self reflections, self portraits and self healing seem to wrap themselves around you here like a comfort that fills and rises up from the bottom of your soul, certain places have that effect on you, even in a short time they can change you for the better.
The Balinese belive this mountain is the center of the universe, and i can totally agree with them on that. They also say all temples in Bali point towards Mount Agung and its also known as the 8th Chakra point in the world. It's a special place that's for sure.
After rain follows sunshine!🌧☀️
I stayed 3 weeks back home in Germany with my family and friends for Christmas and New Year! I spend an amazing time there although I had a tough time with sickness and a lot of doctors appointments.
Northern Germany is in December and January cold, rainy and what I new but never experienced as extreme as coming from Kenya in December to Germany: it‘s f*cking dark all the time!
Now am back home in Kenya since Sunday and enjoy the warm sunlight☀️😍

Times when you think that things are going your way but they’re not, it’s okay. They’re like a part of our journey. No matter how many times they occur. They’re going to be there, they are your breakers.
Move on and find another route to your destination, look for a greater perspective, Look at the bigger picture, of life cuz sooner or later the finish line will kick in, Have no regrets then.
