This was actually a really random trip. So I was watching Yes, Theory on YouTube where they challenged Will Smith to bungee jump over the Grand Canyon and thought “That looks pretty amazing, I have yet to visit, probably should go at least once.” That was enough convincing for me. 24 hours later I was on my way to Arizona.

Fossil records date stingrays back to the Jurassic period, 150 million years ago! How cool is that?! 🦕🦖
Unfortunately these friendly, curious and gentle sea animals have gotten a bad rep for something that happened over 10 years ago. And because of this now people fear them and refer to them as dangerous creatures 😣. This is far from the truth, they are the cutest gentle, loving sea babies 🥰 that just want to rub against you and playfully explore what you are. Stingrays generally do not attack aggressively or even actively defend themselves. When threatened, their primary reaction is to swim away. Fatal stings are very rare; when Steve Irwin was killed in 2006, it was only the second case recorded in Australia since 1945. Of course, be cautious when being around any sea life, but never let fear hold you back from enjoying the company of the amazing marine life! 🐙🐡

“You can kill the dreamer, but you can’t kill the dream” #mlkweekend 🥂🥂 We are all dreamers. We are all thinkers. We need to act on our dreams. By acting on our dreams we can turn those dreams into something bigger - we can make those dreams a reality. 🥂
I loved this quote that I found in #lucerne . We need to start taking about our dreams. Dreams will no longer be just dreams when we speak them into existence. 💛💛 Share with me- what is something you are dreaming for? 💛🥂

After a long day of driving through Death Valley NP we weren’t quite sure if we should stop here or just move on to Las Vegas. But I’m so glad that we did because look at that view!
🎶 I'm in a New York state of mind🎶
Namely, I'm thinking about how I'm going to pack every winter item I own plus some of my friends' 😂. Heading there later this week for a conference and to experience winter, apparently.
I've been to New York a few times now but there's always more to do and see! Hit me with your fave (non-touristy) things to do and places to eat. I have super limited free time but I want to squeeze in a couple of cool things!
Even if you've only been once, what's your favorite thing to do in NYC?
Back to these // only a few photo albums left // we leave the day after tomorrow for the next go around. 🤗 Helloooo, Namibia! Such an unexpected gem you were. The focus of our time here was visiting the abandoned diamond mining town of Kolmanskop. At its height, it held the most wealth per capita in the world; now it's being overtaken by the Namib desert after decades of desertion. Deeply fascinating and one of the coolest places I've ever experienced. And it truly is an experience--not just a stop-and-go photo field trip. 💓 Worthy of a bucket list FOR SURE. 💎
