As part of a leadership stretch this week, I was challenged to unapologetically take myself out.
As I received this challenge - and yes, for a Mum with 4 young kids the guilt can be so real - as I was sitting @ballaratwholefoodscafe
After a juicy, challenging session @whitelightyoga mmmmmmm......
Working yeah, but alone.
No one asking anything of me.
Just me, asking of myself to fulfill my soul and fill up my bucket.
And it was so freaking peaceful.
I love that I have this privilege.
To work this way.
To be so passionate about the future of humanity and the planet that I can honour myself at the same time I create my vision.
All while enjoying some brain octane bulletproof and a glorious macadamia slice.
Adventure On ✌
And don't forget to fill up your bucket. ❤
I hope to one day look back at this photo, not for the scenery but for the reminder that I did something different. I took a chance, made some sacrifices and lived life on my own terms. Getting out of my comfort zone is tough, but since I don’t want to live with regrets, it’s mandatory. Every day, I am learning something new and I hope to be able to put it all together one day and do something meaningful, and hopefully this camera is in my hand while I do it. I hope to be able to one day look at this picture and say to myself that I am in my element here, and I hope it feels as good as I think it will. 🧡🌎📸
Howdy! 🤠 It’s #nationalselfieday and I’ve yet to formally introduce myself. 🤯 My friends call me Kay. ✨ I’m a sucker for a good brewery and geek out at historic sites. I’ve been traveling the United States since I was Tommy Pickles age (before the weirdly good teen spinoff), got thrown around a lake every weekend by choice as a kid in #arizona and started traveling abroad at 13. 🛫
Antibes ✨ I walked around this little town one morning while I was visiting the French Riviera. I walked by la plage, past the church and through the old town. I bought a fresh nectarine from the Provençal markets, washed it at a spring by the road and ate it while continuing my walk. The French Riviera is magical and I wish I got to spend more time there!
