MY ART IS OFFICIALLY FOR SALE!
I have been debating for a long time how I would present the sale of my artwork online. After weeks of researching different platforms, websites, and sales outlets, I have decided that the best option for me right now is to handle everything in house until I get a formal website (in which the timing will heavily depend on sales).
SO help fund my life and purchase some art! This piece, along with several others, have been added and updated in my photo albums on FACEBOOK! If you have trouble locating or have inquiries about anything, email me or shoot me a message!

Ever so flexible. Very round cats that could still do the various yoga poses. 🍡 also Yuan Xiao Festival tomorrow - when Chinese people will eat lots of glutinous rice balls (my mum does a wicked black sesame rose petal version), light lanterns and guess riddles.
For my 30th birthday, my very talented brother @yishu_ldn designed and hand painted this beautiful @mulberryengland passport cover. I was born in the year of the dragon so the design is particularly meaningful to me ❤️ Can’t wait to book my next trip and show it off at customs 😏😍

In Progress... Untitled (3 men in Merzouga Desert)
Oil on Masonite
The past week or so I’ve been listening to a lot of podcasts on creativity and resiliency. On a recent episode of Creative Pep Talk podcast, host @andyjpizza says that one way to push through creative frustrations and road blocks is to put yourself in the shoes of your future self and ask what you needed to hear now. The more I’ve thought about this concept, the more I’ve seen how helpful it can be. Looking back on past hurdles that I’ve overcome and thinking about what I would go back and tell myself, offers a lot of insight on how to move beyond hurdles that I’m currently facing. Often I’m kinder and give more grace to myself in hindsight than in the present moment, so I’m starting a practice of asking myself, “what did you need to hear then?”
I created this lettering piece while listening to @emily_jeffords new podcast “Do It For the Process” which is insightful and has been a new peaceful addition to my studio 😊
Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry, but by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry, and die, it can introduce that idea that if we try and understand each other, we may even become friends. -- Maya Angelou 🐻❤️🐼🌻🤗
Me, contemplating life—or more likely my lunch: an artwork.
Headed back home tomorrow after a month of traveling and here are some takeaways:
1) I miss grocery shopping
2) I enjoy having more shoe options than one pair of sneakers
3) I sleep best on couches
4) my life is filled with amazing humans
5) whoever invented sweatshirts I’m marrying you
6) you can do anything if you just pretend you belong and avoid eye contact
In a month from now I’ll have been on the road for 3 years! In 2016, I left my job in advertising to travel the world my bicycle. After 10,000 miles (and 2 years) of riding from Vietnam to Turkey, my boyfriend and I set the bikes aside and have been living out of a backpack ever since. It’s been a year since then, and we’ve hopped around from places we loved and wanted to revisit to new places we wanted to explore. More often than not, we rent an Airbnb for a month at a time in a city with good food, cheap accommodation, easy transportation, and reliable WiFi. I often get the question, “what do you pack for a life like that?” After a lot of trial and error, I’ve learned to pair down my wardrobe to a few basic things that I can mix and match for whatever climate I’m in. Here’s a little illustration of my favorite items.
