From now on I‘ll have weekly videos of my travels which is super exciting for since I‘ve never done this before.
I‘m actually gonna continue what I started on Instagram, the „videoblog“. So stay tuned and feel free to check out the first one tonight at 6.00pm ✨
When I was young my reality was I lived in a 1 bedroom apartment with my parents.
Never missed any love 🧡, got education opportunity’s and we had food and 1x per year we went for 3 weeks to a camping.
It was fun!
Until I became a mom and saw myself trapped in the 9-5 JOB, away from my children, making ends meet... in@a small house, 2 cats and a blue car. Mediocre living.. alarm clock... paycheck to paycheck ... seeing my co- workers more often ten my husband Dirk - - who Tun in and off to our restaurants 70+ hours per week 😌
I’m grateful that I found mentors who showed us how to create an abundant life working from home, with just a laptop, smartphone and WiFi ... .
If YOU also rather live here than in a 1 room apartment, replace your 9-5 JOB say YES!! in the comments ?
I’m very grateful for my Costa Rican family life near the beach🙌
Now you know it hasn’t always been this way that you see me posting on my Insta today. .
How I came here ? How I made that mind shift? And how I replaced my job? And how you can do too?

Happy Anzac Day to everyone back in Australia.
I've spent the last week or so travelling through Laos and it's really opened my eyes to how lucky we have it in a first world country such as Australia.
Not a lot of people know this, I know I most certainly didn't until I came here, but Laos is the most heavily bombed country in the world per capital. It was bombed 'in secret' during the Vietnam war when US air pilots needed to offload their bombs and couldn't reach the Ho Chi Ming Trail for whatever reason. Laos was never a part of the Vietnam war and had signed an agreement stating they would stay out of it.
The horror and terror hasn't ended for the Laotian people. These days, these cluster bombs are still hidden in the farming lands, under schools, in mountains, in trees, waiting for a force to detonate it.
Young kids are at risk of dying as these bombs look like balls and kids tend to want to throw them. Farmers who are preparing their fields are also at risk of accidentally striking it with their shovels. The list goes on. Despite all of this, the people here are absolutely beautiful and kind, which is heart warming to witness. They make the best with what they have and are happy.

I mean thing will always happen to us, you’re not always in control over that.
However you are in control over HOW you respond to these events.
I remember when I lost my restaurant and was left with a 300k debt.
Did I felt miserable? Absolutely!
Did I have no clue what to do or how to get out of it? You bet!
Did I feel sorry for myself? Yes, I definitely had my pity party for a while.
Being a husband and father of 2 though made me realize that feeling sorry for myself was useless .
Finding a solution and moving forward was the only option.
What do you think? Would you want to be the best example for your kids as well?
Been looking forward to our dream escape all day! What a hump day! I need this, I’m sure you do too. Thanks to these photographers for taking us on this journey: 📸 @davidauer_@ananewyork@adventurescape@cntraveler@sylkescholz. Lake Mead is absolutely perfect! Since we stayed here for 5 days, I am going to post about this location a couple of times 👍💜
The moment we got here, Tiger was ready for his hike! He jumped out of the van and started running up the hill, while of course, stopping every 10ft to make sure I was coming 😸. The cats absolutely loved this location, they were able to run free safely.
There were only a couple of campers and some visitors that showed up throughout the day (and night). Boxcar Cove was such a scerene location compared to surrounding camp spots that were packed like sardines. This place made us feel right at home. 💜✌️

Photo taken at the Fallen Monument Park. Cement faces behind barbed wire represent the thousands of Gulag prisoners.
The Fallen Monument Park was erected to showcase the dilapidated statues predominate in the USSR. An eerie display that is worth the visit if ever in Moscow.

"Everything in this world is neutral. Whether a thing is beneficial or destructive depends on the consciousness and character of the person utilizing it."
Traveling helped me a lot to understand this concept. Everything is about perceptions and perspectives. Stop taking things personally. You create your own reality and are responsible of your own emotions.

🇬🇧Myra is an ancient Hellenic city, in Lycia in Asia Minor, today located near Demre (southern Turkey). The most glorious testimony of its past is undoubtedly the necropolis, which presents a series of tombs carved into the rock, with a magnificent and imposing appearance. The facades of the tombs still retain columns and pediments, then there are also niches and small temples. The effect had to be even more intense centuries ago, when the tombs were painted in bright colors: yellow, red, blue, orange. This type of construction was erected in honor of families belonging to the noble class and thus remains a testimony of the city's flourishing wealth. Some sarcophagi still have inscriptions in ancient Greek or in Lycian language. 🏛️🗿
Alcuni sarcofagi presentano ancora iscrizioni in greco antico o in lingua licia. 🏛🗿

LAST PART OF THE SILLAR ROUTE!
Hello friends, this is the last climb of the sillar route. Without a doubt, the road here was great and very hot. However, what Melanie and I found at the end made us feel surprised 😱🎉.

Do you remember their names? The apachetas! These stones stacked in a singular way are a symbolism of respect to the pachamama (mother earth). We were very excited to see that so many people still practice this tradition and respect its meaning.
We could not avoid leaving our offering too😊 '
What abt u? Do you usually make apachetas in the mystic places you visit?
