On the edge of the crater of Mt. Bromo.
You can walk probably almost around the crater (as we didn’t have enough time we couldn’t attempt to do so), and the path is proved to be very special, one side you could see the vast Sea of Sand, the flat area surrounding the volcano, the other side the constantly rising smoke from within sometimes completely hid the crater.

Our last meal in Oslo @lofoten_fiskerestaurant right on the waterfront at Aker Brygge, views across the marina to Akershus and fortress, and along the fjord where all manner of boats are out enjoying this glorious spring day. The little city beaches are crammed full of people, and because the days are long, picnics will go long into the night. The small seafood platter was enjoyed by himself, with little conversation as he savoured the plump mussels in white wine & tomato, sweet school prawns & juicy langoustine, a perfect way to spend our last hours here #oslodining#waterfrontrestaurant#oslo#seafood#food#foodie#lofotenfiskerestaurant
Imagine the smell of sulfur and a constant rumbling noise from deep within. This is how the crater of Mt. Bromo feels like.
As it is possible to hike up and walk around the crater one can’t help but feel how powerful nature is and in comparison how fragile we are.
There is a local tradition of throwing offerings into the volcano’s crater (food, flowers etc), and there is also a local tradition of climbing into the crater, risking one’s life, just to get the offerings out as they are considered blessed by the volcano and therefore they bring good luck.
You're probably wondering why you're not seeing a tonne of Europe spam from me right about now...well due to work commitments – starting a couple new companies, moving offices, you know, that kind o'thing – Michael and I have had to postpone our trip til a bit later in the year. A little longer to wait but it'll be far sweeter when we're thoroughly on top of things. .
For now, we'll just have @gabdetails' gorgeous pics of Florence to keep us dreaming... 💭🎠🌸

Reposting a shot I took as I was zipping through in Boracay 2 years back. We all know that Boracay has been closed for rehabilitation for a couple of weeks now but I believe it was long way overdue. We have overlooked the state of Mother Nature just for the sake of tourism and personal indulgences and that is disheartening. We are but mere dwellers of the Earth; not owners.
Boracay, rest now my child. See you again once you’ve recovered from your slumber.
