The tower at Malin Head was built by the British Admiralty in 1805. It’s one of twelve along the Donegal coast, and one of 81 built across the country to defend against the French during the Napoleonic wars.

Cairn U, Loughcrew, Carnabene East - County Meath - 21/3/18
Cairn U is a ruined passed tomb; approximately 13m in diameter, with a cruciform chamber. When it was discovered, the chamber was full of debris; stone, soil, and splinters of burnt bone. Clearing revealed 13 stones with megalithic art.

Situated on the outskirts of Glenbeigh village, on the Caherciveen Road.Associated with the Winns (Barons Headley) work began in 1867 on what was known as Headley Towers and also, more caustically , Wynnes Folly. It was burned down in 1922
