Finally made it out to 石塘咀 to try this 30 years old super local hot pot restaurant!!🍲✨Must call ahead to pre-order their premium local beef (ours is the 2nd best), also tried their geoduck sashimi which was super fresh & homemade chive & pork dumplings- every table was ordering these!!🥟 .
Authentic Chinese soup broths available like: 🍅1/2 火井signature 8hrs soup broth (tomatoes, tofu skin, chicken feet, pig intestines & pigs skin), 🥥1/2 Nata de coco soup sharks bone broth, Hua diao chicken soup broth, satay soup broth and so on...
🎐Tofu rolls came with a sweet & sour sauce that tasted like @mcdonalds chicken nugget sauce!! 🐮Meat, offal lovers & adventurous eaters would appreciate this place.. they serve marinated frog stomachs & pigs throats too!!😵
💖Staff were super friendly & helpful too!! HOWEVER, not sure if it was our clean eating all week, @antoniamli & I got super bloated after.. weirdly in the eye bag area so there’s something we can’t take!! Suffice to say I won’t be coming back...😭

Ate a GIANT XXL bowl of lobster tomyum at the night market in bangkok. $100usd, but it can feed like 6 people. Filled with a giant lobster, prawn, squid, mussels, fish, crab, and all the creatures in the sea. Oh and also mama noodles. Was it worth? Yepp. Was it good? Yepp. Should you get it? Yes. Even if it was just me, i’d still pay $100.
it’s been far too long (1 week) since I treated myself to some @theunbakery goodies and that’s a good enough excuse for me to go out of my way to go to ponsonby for the sole reason of getting some!! i love me!!! today I tried out the chocolate layer cake and this has made it into my top 3 little bird treats (alongside the caramel slice pictured and the cookies and cream cake I had last time). such good texture and subtle coconutty flavour and although every time I see them serve a slice of cake at little bird I think it’s too small, this was actually the perf size and I prob would have vommed if I ate any more hehe 🙂🥰🥰
