Have you seen the ‘City for Corduroy’ exhibit at the Museum of the City of New York? We haven’t made it yet, but love the Corduroy display at Amy’s Bread on Ninth Avenue (the hot chocolate, sandwiches and pastries are pretty great too). Drop-in Corduroy-inspired crafting at the museum today and a MLK program at Monday. More info (plus discount admission) on our site.
The same goals I set for myself when I turned 23, I’m letting them roll over into my 24th year. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As I get older I realize that patience is truly the key to success, obstacles do make you stronger, and as much as we want the finish line to be free of diversions realistically it won’t. Life is meant to be difficult with the purpose to help us stretch and grow. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There’s no greater feeling than achieving something that you’ve put all of your heart and soul into in spite of challenges. If it came easy, would you experience the same level of satisfaction or happiness? Would it feel the same? #foodforthought 🧐
"Time's Square, NYC - Roustam Nour" by Educa (1000 pieces)
Fourth piece I bought, but the third one I've completed. So, I started working on this during the holidays. I just finished it, recently. So far, this is my favorite because it actually glows in the dark (being skeptic when I first saw it, but ended up buying it anyway) 🙆♀️🙆♀️🙆♀️ Don't have a clear photo of it with the lights out, though 😕😕😕 #jigsawpuzzle#timessquarenyc#musicals#vintagesetting#collectible#puzzlegram#puzzlemania#hobby
I whip my hair back and forth 💁♀️
Spent the day with @oneikatraveller last week and had so much fun shooting with this girl! Surprisingly the Times Square stop was the perfect location, plenty of trains going by every few minutes making it super easy to get this shot & not too many people at 3pm!
