My new fave gin cocktail served up in the @horseguardsldn *Secret* Herb Garden on The Terrace. Beefeater (obv) gin, @fevertreemixers tonic, basil and chilli. The chilli isn't super strong but definitely gives the drink a kick - just how I like it! 🌶 What's your fave cocktail?

Fine dining in a street-food ambience. At least that’s what chef David Munoz aimed for in their 3-Michelin starred Madrid flagship and their new London restaurant here. Street XO’s decor was definitely funky, with neon lights and dim lighting, even a resident DJ! Each dish was strikingly presented. The food takes inspiration from European, Asian and South American (!) cuisines, so be prepared for flavour combinations you’ll never have come across! Overall the food quality was good, although I felt some dishes could’ve been better executed.
The highlights were this beautiful Octopus dish 🐙, which was cooked perfectly tender and tasted of the Mediterranean, accompanied by the rich flavours of a Mexican mole. Another dish I loved was the ramen 🍜 with a rich foie gras flavoured broth. I would be contend with a big bowl of this! 😋
(1) Octopus “a la Gallega” 🐙 with chilmole.
(2) The funky interior.
(3) XO Blood served straight from the ❤️.
(4) Pekingese dumplings, crunchy pig’s ears 🐷.
(5) Irish oysters with gazpacho of jalapeño & tomatillo verde.
(6) Ramen of foie gras & BBQ guinea fowl.
(7) Green curry with avocados, peas & broccoli 🥦.
(8) Milk-fed lamb shank, Peruvian potatoes with Aji Amarillo & Chinese smoked tea.
(9) Dessert of the day - popcorn 🍿 ice-cream.
The Chelsea Flower Show is back and London’s blooming! From Sloane Square to Elizabeth Street, Covent Garden to Mayfair, floral installations are adorning buildings everywhere. This is one of my favourite examples
“Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” - Carl Jung 💭 One of my favourite London doors this one, the only thing missing is a cat sitting on one of those white pedestals 👀🐈
