Ahh…the story of the suitcase and the staircase. A true tragicomedy in the making. (If you saw me trying to get this bag up the stairs you would have thought it was a comedy….I found it more tragic). I love the city of London and visit at least once a year to spend time there. But two things I do not love: the prevalence of stairs in tube stations and the lack of chivalrous strangers who will offer to help me carry this cadaver-sized bag up said stairs.
Last year, at the start of a 4-country tour of Europe & North Africa, I had to lug this bag up 6 stair cases across multiple tube stations in London. It wasn’t until the very last station that someone finally offered to help me. Just as I was about to give up on polite society all together (thank you, kind stranger lady). That’s why I was beyond happy to find a service like @bagbnb that allowed me to store my bags for the day. As I was staying at friend’s homes at opposite ends of London - I often found myself out and about for the day carrying my luggage.
With BAGBNB, I could leave my bag in a safe location all day for just £5. I’ve used their bag storage service in 3 cities now and have always been happy with my decision to do so.
BAGBNB makes life so much easier because you don’t have to lug around a bag all day and it gives you the sense of security that your valuables are locked up while you’re out exploring a city.
Check out the BAGBNB app or website to find if one of their 1000+ locations is in a city you’ll be visiting. Your bags, your back and your peace of mind are worth it! #theressomuchtosee

Surfers Paradise ~ 2019
This year I’ve seen a lot of places & travelled a lot of coastlines - there isn’t anything quiet like home in the East Coast of Queensland, you can see why I’ve been spending a lot of time on the Gold Coast lately, I love the architecture of the buildings formatting the beachfront of Surfers, so cool seeing it through my eyes in the sky ! 😃🌊🌴

THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVOURITE THINGS.. 🌹”Raindrops on roses. Whiskers on kittens. Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens. Brown paper packages tied up with string...” (also eating gelati next to the Fontana di Trevi 🍧)
🏖These are a few of my favourite things about managing our holiday rental property:
1. Sharing our favourite place in Australia with people from all over the world 🗺
2. Making connections with local businesses in Port Douglas who are passionate about the area 🏝
3. Giving people a wonderful holiday...it makes me so happy 😁 #number2onthebeach#portdouglas
Once a year, go someplace you have never been before.
Being in the mountains isn't just about the splendid views of tall peaks touching the skies. It's something more. It's probably something to do with the clean air and the cold winds. It's about solace and calm. It's about the bliss that takes home in your heart.
I walked the stairs up the shanti stupa. And at one point just turned around, took a breath and looked straight up instead of counting the steps.
And at that moment, I knew why I loved being in the hills. That moment my heart froze, not just because of the breathtaking view of trans himalayas, but the way the wind hit me at - 6°, the way my hands froze and the way I could feel my heart beat with nothing less than truck loads of bliss.
My body froze in time. I heard nothing but the sound of my heart. I sensed nothing but the pulse in my feet. I felt nothing but blood rush through my brain. And my mind was on reboot. My mind was at peace. I could see nothing, but a mirror in the hills and myself in it, smiling, rejoicing my existence.
Words won't ever do justice to the feel one gets in the mountains.
Its just something you HAVE to experience in complete mindfulness.
Many of us are taught that the world is full of things that will hurt us, and so we must armor up before leaving the house. Rather than being taught ways to skillfully and gracefully navigate, interact with, and flow past anything that we may encounter. The upside to living consciously and with agency is worth the effort to learn and grow. #nvrtmrw#bramfife
Practicing floating before I even get into the Dead Sea!
Experiences you will never forget: * Laughing while you cover yourself in nutrient rich mud. * Floating “effortlessly” in water that is nearly 10 times more salty than the ocean. * Enjoying the hell out of yourself at the Dead Sea.
Join me in Jordan this September for a 10-day, small group trip through this spectacular country. We’ll be enjoying 2 days at this natural wonder that is the Dead Sea at the end of the trip.
