I am so...so proud of this kid. I met with 9 strangers (some I've talked to on the phone or through email) today and they had the most amazing things to say about him. Parent Teacher Conference. I heard about what a good person he is and how he is friends with everyone. How he is always helping people around him and is a great leader. How he likes to joke and laugh but always listens. How he is kind and always in a good mood. Don't get me wrong I want him to get good grades too, which he has all As & Bs (one C+...damn science...he might get that from me), but to hear these strangers talk about what a good person he is just made my heart so happy.
There were a couple times I almost teared up because it reminded me of my dad: "that boy always has a smile on his face" or "he's a dandy" he would say about Kyle.
I have become discouraged with what is considered acceptable behavior these days and what is being put out into the world as normal boys and men's behavior. Basically all I've ever wanted was to raise kind-hearted boys and not fuck them up. 🤣
I walked out of their so proud of this amazing & kind human being today.
Proud boy mom moment. 😍
Thanks to weather and work, #theStink has had a lack of riding and building. Hopefully before the torrential downpours of fall/ winter start we can get the mini fun track done. For now here is a frontside sloosh. 📷@_just_devon
