Christmas display in our 'Oval Safari' Breeze House... come and be inspired at our Greater London show site in Shepperton
Really feeling for our poor builders today... they are literally waist deep in mud and water bailing out the trench to allow our water pipes to be laid tomorrow... fair play to them.. I’d have probably drowned in mud and my own tears by now... keep everything crossed it stays dry tonight, otherwise I have a feeling there will be no one here tomorrow! 🤣
... and so to bed...😴 Trying to get some early nights in, it’s going to be a crazy few weeks as the plumber, electrician, window fitter, builder and brickie are all booked to be coming in over the next month... big push to get us warm and watertight by Xmas... oh yeah, and it’s the busiest time of year for me at work... 🙀🤣 Breathe, Relax, Breathe... 😆😆

Eliza dreaming this was her house 💕
Sometimes I wish I was 5 and could wear a glittery gold jacket, pink floaty skirt and welly boots 😍 They have the best dress sense, dance and sing all the time and think that if you have anything unicorn or mermaid related you are the best person in the world 🦄 🧜♀️💕
Also this house is one of my favourites, at @furzey_gardens there are also loads of fairy doors hidden around and we like to whisper our wishes to them 🤭🤫🌸
Can you believe it’s due to snow this weekend? Aye, it’s on the high hills in the north of England and Scotland.. but I’m sure only yesterday I was complaining about the heat. So this ace shot by @monalogue is just the ticket.
Don’t you just love this cosy view of the Cotswolds? You’d be as snug as a bug in a rug here. Pile of books, stack of crumpets and a warm mug of coffee in front of a sweet smelling fire. Bliss!
I read that the word “Cotswolds” comes from the name of an Anglo-Saxon chieftain named Cod in the 12th century who owned high land or "wold"- hence "Cod's wold" and eventually became "Cotswold". The Cotswolds are sometimes known as "King Cod's land". Sounds a bit fishy to me.
Have a lovely Wednesday! I’m off to get my snow gear ready ⛄️ Lovely image by @monalogue 🇬🇧 Want your Photos of Britain to be featured? Follow and tag us in your shots! 'Ta!🇬🇧
Doesn't this idyllic cottage look like it's straight out of a fairytale?🏡 This thatched beauty can be found in Poole, Dorset - a seaside town in the south of England which has a beautiful natural harbour and sandy beaches. Thanks to @lensereflection for the 📷! P.s. Can you spot the 🐝?

As I was nibbling on the last piece of my own Cotswold Fudge, I saw this shot of Castle Combe and thought how appropriate to feature. Thanks to @anya.g.rowe for the shot. Love the smoky atmosphere on this one... rows of traditional chimneys gently sweetening the village air with that wonderful fireplace smell. Aye, thankfully not every house in Britain does this anymore - so it's like a little cheeky treat.
This honey coloured village was important enough at one time to be granted the privilege of holding a fair where wool and sheep were traded. For many years it was a very prosperous place. Sadly though the price of wool fell greatly over time and the village went through a very hard patch. I read because of that, it was protected from redevelopment over time as people couldn't afford to make major changes. It was in a little bubble that protected it from redevelopment
Have a fantastic Saturday! Lovely shot by @anya.g.rowe 🇬🇧 Don't forget to enter the competition! See our profile link or go straight to Blimey.com on your Desktop for details! 🇬🇧
