I am the ABSOLUTE WORST at this. I try and take everything on myself because I’m stubborn. But with car troubles, sub jobs, and lack of transportation, I had to ask for help. I had to accept that I can’t just ignore things and hope they go away. I’m going to teach my students to reach out and ask for help and to not be ashamed or afraid. #askforhelp#iteachtoo#teacher#teachersofinstagram#teachersfollowteachers
Working on vacation is not my favorite. But if I have to do it, Cuban ☕️, green tea, good music, 80 degree weather, and a pool makes working all the better. I am stepping up my Amazing Race testing review this year! I can’t wait to show y’all what I have in store. ☺️

Spring is here! Have your students plant some grass seeds, take a silly picture, and glue it inside the cup. When the grass grows, it'll look like crazy hair! This cute idea is from @mrs.thomasthirdgrade!

Our C1 reader for this year! .
Nossos alunos do curso Advanced (C1) iniciaram a leitura do clássico Vanity Fair neste mês. O livro é rico em detalhes e as "After-Reading Activities" são maravilhosas! A editora Hub arrasa nos readers! 👏❤
Can you tell I love matching other people?! 😂 My husband bought me a pair of @adidas to match a pair he already had. (Yes, he picks me up everyday because we’re down to one car. #thestruggleisreal ) So I took this opportunity for a photo shoot. (Thanks @garciamathparty 😆) HAPPY MONDAY! 🌸
March Madness Book Tournament is complete, and we have a winner!!! I absolutely love doing a book tournament each March; my students become obsessed with the books. It has been great to expose the kiddos to amazing books that don’t necessarily align to our curriculum.
If you don’t have The Book with No Pictures, you need to get it NOW! My students absolutely love this book, and have chosen it as the tournament winner for the past 3 years.
