Today I read “The Road Not Taken” written by Robert Frost. The speaker is standing in the woods, considering which road to take in the fork. Both ways look similar and are covered with leaves. As he chooses one, he tells himself he will take the other road another day. However, it is unlikely he will have the opportunity to do so. Admitting in the future he would recreate the scene with a twist; he would claim that he took the less traveled road. •
Frost uses assonance, “two roads diverged in a yellow wood”. Personification; as he stresses “the path wanted wear”, but a path cannot want. The poem itself is a metaphor as the speaker compares the paths of life to the choices we make. The roads represent what we choose in life ❤️ Let’s face it - We all can relate💫 Read this short story and share your thoughts! Photo Credit: My good friend Tamra 💞
So my classroom has been a whopping 64 degrees the last two days. So.... I wore 4 shirts today 😂 and I think it turned out alright!

Chef Mackenzie 👨🏻🍳 from @hgtwa demonstrated to the year 11 hospitality students at Mt Lawley Senior High School this morning.
At the schools request Mackenzie created a trio of bruschetta while being bombarded with questions from the students. Hopefully Mackenzie has encouraged some of the students to consider cooking as a career.
I'm ordering this book now. Thanks for posting this, Chilo! One of the greatest scholars/teachers of world history!
@Regran_ed from @therealchilo - Recently completed this bio of one of my great influences in the world of historical scholars. This man's life story is a straight movie. Growing up in Georgia to a family in a long line of sharecroppers, going the extra mile for education on top of responsibilities, running away via freight train to renting a room in a brothel in early teens in Chicago, arriving in Harlem at 18, having mentors like Arturo Schomburg offer book suggestions, experience in military to journalism to overnight at LaGuardia airport, to knowing and building with black power figures like Malcolm and Nkrumah, etc , making his mark in his field amongst scholarly contemporaries like John Jackson, Cheikh Diop , Dr Ben (no not the one in cabinet) Richard Wright etc etc etc founding lasting institutions and teaching as a professor in NYC for decades and continuously keeping it real. What a remarkable life. What a teacher . Salute . #johnhenrikclarke#teacher#masterteacher#scholar#blackstudies#influential#knowledge#whatablessing#movielife#moved#readthat#palante - #regrann
My name is Tramain, I am 22 and a Bundjalung gal from the north east coast of New South Wales, living in Brisbane.
I am 5 units off finish my Bachelor of Primary Education specialising in the Early Years. For me when picking a career I knew I had the ability to help my people and to me teaching was the best way to do so. I truly believe education is the tool our people need to overcome our struggle.
The early years is important to me because I believe instilling the love for learning in our kids from the beginning, will be what pushes through the next generation of Indigenous lawyers, teachers and doctors. 🖤💛❤👣🌿
This letter I is a game changer! Whenever I’m working 1:1 or in small groups, this light goes on. It stands for INDEPENDENCE. When the light is on, students need to work on their independence and cannot bother me. It helps so much with unnecessary interruptions (unless aliens are invading our classroom, someone is hurt, or there is a real emergency)!
This light has helped me benchmark my students this week for guided reading. Yay! It’s originally from @target but I got it for 75% off new at a thrift store. 😆
I am Wendy from Korvia.🙋♀️
How do you guys enjoy this fall?🍁
I guess some of you have experienced fall and some of you haven’t before you came to Korea.🍂
One thing I like about being in Korea is that here we can enjoy 4 seasons.🍀☀️🍂❄️ .
Fall is a very emotional time of year for me
I want to share this saying about fall with you~😉
This morning, (yesterday's Live) as I listened to Rachel and Dave Hollis, they were talking about not quitting and giving up on yourself. Life is hard, achieving our goals are hard, and it's unfortunately easier to quit. "The only thing worse than quitting is wishing you hadn't." -Rachel Hollis
Sometime the hardest part is just getting started. Whatever you're goals or dream are, go after them!
When you run into the store for 1 thing but end up in the book aisle. 🤷🏼♀️ #teachermom

I need to brag on my girl tonight!! Jessica joined her first bootcamp in August 2017. At the time she was going through some life transitions and moving to a new state. She wasn’t consistently working out. She didn’t follow any sort of nutrition plan. She didn’t have a community of health-minded people supporting her.
Her physical transformation is quite obvious! I’ve watched this girl for over a year now, commit to our groups and programs & show up for herself each day. She has lost inches and pounds, but what I’ve noticed the MOST in her how much confidence she has gained and her hunger for more out of life.
She has transformed from someone who was sometimes unsure of herself into a total bada$$!! She is SO bada$$ that she took 2nd place in a recent race she won. She was never a runner before. She recently took up running with friends in addition to her at-Home workouts (rocking week 3 of our current 8 week program!). When you have confidence and believe in yourself, you can do anything you set your mind to. And this beautiful girl is proof. So proud of you @jessilynn_91 ! 💕
Today’s Bootcamp workout is DONE & in amazeballs company! I’m always asked how I stay motivated to stay on the wagon of my own health and fitness journey, wherever I am — and the answer is: Becoming an online coach!!! Coaching has required me to LEVEL UP my commitment to my OWN journey. ⠀
— Seeing my Bootcamp babes show up keeps me in line to make SURE I do, too......⠀
— Working my online coaching business while I travel because I know our team’s coaches are working their butts off, too..... ⠀
— (@rainavsfood 💕) Hanging out with new friends who prioritize their health and fitness; while traveling, too.....⠀
This lifestyle I’ve gained is ALL thanks to saying HELL YES to this online coaching gig as my part-time job when I was still a full-time elementary school teacher! ⠀
For five years, this now full-time career has kept me on point. I work my ass off and it’s always worth it. So if you’ve ever wanted to learn more about coaching, drop a “🔥” FIRE emoji below and show me you’re ready to LEVEL UP your life, too!!! 🇺🇸🇬🇧🇨🇦 only.
