I made so many excuses to talk myself out of making this change. For 3 months. I was hesitant, because I was super skeptical 🧐 Then I told myself, “I have nothing to lose. I’ll get my money back in 60 days.” I didn’t even think about trying to get my money back - I felt too good! They’d never believe me 😆 My severe exhaustion is gone, along with the puffiness, the bad moods, and now, 20 pounds. Gone. My body has found balance and now works like it should. Game. Changer.
What’s even better?! Holy cow, guys, it feels so good to help other people with these same issues I was having. I really thought it was just me silently suffering, but I’ve had the pleasure to help close to 30 of my friends and family get on this same journey! Taking it back to the basics.
When I’m struggling I just have to remember why I started. I have the tools & resources, all I need to do is the WORK! .

Move Into Monday! I think it is obvious that fall is my favourite season. I love this quote because it combines my love of fall with the reminder that letting things go can be a positive experience. Take a chance and let something go. You never know what beautiful experience may come from it.

A new recipe, a new restaurant, a new car, a new book, a new neighborhood, a new wine. From the mundane to the big picture, we're taking chances a lot. How awful is it that it's hardest for us to take a chance on ourselves? .
It's like we have to put ourselves on trial every single time we want to do something to better ourselves. Will I waste this money, will I be able to stick with it, can I trust myself to allot the amount of time this will require...why guys? Something just isn't adding up. Aren't we worth it? .
The trainer for this Program that I'm Prepping for this week is ready to work our bodies AND our minds. So the past two weeks I’ve been a little more quiet on social media than usual. I didn’t post my workouts (that doesn’t mean I wasn’t doing them) and I didn’t really post about coaching.
Well the truth is I was preparing the workout for my company’s quarterly conference. Now I have an extensive group fitness background but being able to have the opportunity to lead the group fitness portion of the conference was probably the greatest thing I have ever said “yes” to doing. It made me go out of my comfort zone to be able to lead in an industry I never thought I could be considered a “leader” in. Now I wasn’t nervous about the workout itself but I was so nervous to stand up in front of other coaches and tell my story & tell them why these programs have changed my life.
I was given this opportunity to coach when I was in a REALLY bad place in my life.
I signed up when my son and I were living in a crisis center.
I signed up when I was overworked and exhausted by teaching 25-30 group fitness classes a week ON top of holding a full time position at a daycare that made me absolutely miserable.
I signed up knowing absolutely no one.
Lastly, I signed up when I was completely honest with myself & realized I deserve so much more.
I knew that my son and I DESERVED so much better than the life we were living just to get by (if you would even call it getting by).
So yes, when I had to stand on stage and tell my story to a crowd of SUCCESSFUL coaches that I look up to it was bittersweet. Bittersweet in the sense that I had to share where I started (& yes I got choked up) to where I am now.
This company isn’t about at home exercise programs and shakes, its about being able to BELIEVE in yourself that you can do WHATEVER you set your mind too.
I even told them that there is nothing that separates me from them, because that’s the truth. Just like there is NOTHING separating me from you.
I would be completely selfish to not invite you to this opportunity that forever has changed my life. I am committed to helping people find the best versions of themselves.
Are you ready to take a chance on you?
We fear the unknown, but that is where the magic lies. The contrasts that we live through life experiences is what enables us to define what we want and what we don't want.
Have you ever tried something that didn't feel good? Did you want to stay in that feeling? Probably not.
The amazing thing about life is that at any given time we have the power of choice.
So don't be afraid to try, if it doesn't feel good, you can move on.
Remember that you aren't stuck there forever. Life comes in waves and soon you will have the opportunity to move towards something that is more aligned with your vision. Just don't be afraid to try, that's the only way to know what's on the other side ✨

How do you bring lightness to your life? I often remind myself that life is only as heavy as I allow it to feel. There are 1 million + 1 reason why we could constantly feel tired, exhausted, drained, overwhelmed, stressed, etc. ⠀
Keeping my eyes on the prize (the vision for my life - my True North) helps me a lot. Reminding myself why I do what I do always does the trick. Being disciplined about NOT sweating the small stuff keeps my luggage light. ⠀
When you work in a senior or fast-paced job, heaviness and overwhelm can easily become your daily companions. Even when the weekend arrives, if there’s lots of deadlines and projects in the air, fully switching off can be challenging. We can easily turn our down time into solely being dedicated to prepping for the workload that’s waiting for us in the office next week.⠀
Try something new instead. Spend 1 hour on a Sunday working out your schedule for the week ahead. Revisit your list of priorities. Visualize the most important meetings of the week and be clear with yourself on the outcome you want to achieve in each one of them. Treat it like a conscious practice of your mind, as if it were a variation of your yoga routine. ⠀
What we want to try and avoid is the constant worrying, checking emails, messages or flitting in and out of work-mode. Sometimes you do have to put in some hours over the weekend, but setting boundaries around it will allow you to get your stuff done while also having the necessary time to properly rejuvenate.⠀
Make this weekend all about you. Think about what you’ve been craving and schedule it in. If you are able, completely forget about work and eradicate any temptations to neurotically check your emails. If you do have deadlines, be strict with yourself. Allot a realistic but ambitious time to the task. Set the alarm and get on with it. Then switch off.
