McDonalds in Taipei! Simple menu + Angus burger option. They have SPICY chicken nuggets which are soooooo much better than regular! Happy meal toys were too cute...almost worth buying a Happy Meal. Oh, and "meal" options = crazy....apparently, if you want the garden salad...you have to pair it with green tea!😦😂🤷♀️ #taipeimcdonalds#tiredofhotpot#taipeitourist#globalfastfood
My week here in Taiwan turned into a game of how-many-pictures-can-I-take-with-cute-characters?!”
By the end of the week I was jumping for joy when we came across a new friend to pose with. Even @tbharker joined the fun! #laughsfordays#Taiwan2018#taipeitourist
missing my summer in Taipei right about now. // I just posted my first IGTV video 🎥 about exploring Yong Kang Street, Taipei’s food mecca. my friend @werberz and I started Taipei Tourist because we felt that Taipei is an Asian destination that’s often underrepresented or overlooked. so, we took it upon ourselves to give you a glimpse into the Taiwanese 🇹🇼 food scene - something we appreciate dearly about our hometown. peep 👀 my profile for the IGTV video!
special thanks to @werberz for filming and editing. who knew so much work went into a three minute video?! #永康街
Got to see the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall... stunning structure for the father of Taiwan. Now trekking to Taipei 101. Loving this city so far.

Taipei at night. Behind me is the Taipei 101 tower.
At 508 m, it was the tallest building in the world from 2004 to 2010 and is still the tallest building built in an earthquake zone thanks to it’s massive pendulum-like damper that stabilizes the building during high winds and earthquakes.
Taipei 101 is a remarkable structure that incorporates Chinese numerology as well as posterity symbols of bamboo, coins and dragon.
But what impressed me the most is that it stands alone in the skyline of Taipei. Plus, the view from the top is spectacular.
Do you ever stop and allow yourself to feel amazed by the things humans can build?
Next stop: The Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, third tallest building in Asia after the Taipei 101!
