Happy Caturday! Passion Flower might look like a meowdel, but she’s more than just a beautiful cat. She’s a furiendly, outgoing cat with a big purrsonality. She is just purrfect, yet somehow she is still waiting for her furever home. Come down @petadoptionfundrescue to meet her and I purromise you’ll love her! 😸
It’s me, Castiel. I used to live alone in the country fending for myself until a man trapped me when I was 2 years old and brought me to the shelter.
I was terrified! Everything was new and scary. I wouldn’t let anyone pet me - I didn’t scratch or bite, just run away - so nobody would adopt me.
Mom offered to foster me because scared cats are her specialty (she says Crookshanks was even more scared than me), but after a couple weeks I had her wrapped around my paw and she adopted me.
Life is so much better now! It’s been a year and a half and I’m not nearly as scared. I come out to say hi to company and I even let some of them pet me! Mom is very proud of me.
So give us scared shelter cats a chance. Be patient with us, let us make the first moves, and we’ll be best friends forever. Just like me and Mom. 🐾

This is Ruby. Last year, my dear friends decided they were ready to start fostering. They fostered the cutest, sweetest pair of kittens that they named Max and Ruby. I took this picture of Ruby while I was visiting them. They found these two a loving home together! Although I did not foster them, it just makes me smile thinking of them and their now happy life. With kitten season coming up, I hope you'll consider fostering, adopting, or donating to a rescue (@cofaspets) or shelter. You'll be giving kittens just like Ruby a chance at a happy life! Thank you to everyone that is already doing this. You're awesome! ♡♡
