Bridge open for water traffic. The Spit Bridge, completed in 1958, is representative of lift bridges which were common in NSW. It is considered to have state heritage significance and is the only lift bridge still operational on a major arterial road. The bridge’s car and pedestrian traffic is halted 3 or 4 times each day to allow water traffic to pass through underneath.
The night after the #postalvote , still euphoric from the wonderful open air free public Hyde Park dance party that reverberated from the #Yesvote , I was walking up Forbes St, Darlo - a suburb whose every nook and cranny I thought I had got to know over the years back to front, in and out - when I ran into this joyful old elephant, dancing his ass off right here smack bang in the middle of Darlinghurst! He was having a hoot, by the look of things
No idea where he came from .....or if he’s just always been here, tucked away behind that weird Masonic Hall thing, and somehow has always just completely escaped my attention (but really!). At any rate, he is just delightful and I went on my way smiling

FOOD FOR THOUGHT!
We are constantly bombarded with protein shakes, bars, various workout formulas by gyms, supplement companies, magazines and so-called “social influences”, but what exactly are they influencing us to do?
I know these products can taste great, but there is no secret, magical bar or shake that will optimise your life and turn you into a super athlete or make you shredded – unless of course it’s over-loaded with caffeine and taurine and that’s definitely not healthy.
There is a better, more natural way to reach your fitness goals. Eating clean, organic, nutrient dense food, regular exercise, adequate sleep, meditation to reduce stress and cortisol levels is the only way to maintain a healthy life on the inside and the outside.
Research suggests that eating oily, wild fish (high in antioxidants, omega-3, DHA and EPAs) once or twice a week can increase your lifespan by more than two years and reduce your risk of dying from cardiovascular disease by 35 percent. You won’t get those same statistics from protein bars or shakes.
There are so many questionable, synthetic, cheap and nasty ingredients in artificial protein sources, which lack substance and real nutrition. Nothing beats mother nature and the only ones who really benefit from these artificial protein sources are the supplement companies who manufacture them and brain-wash us to believe they’re good for us.

Victorian Italianate times 🎩
Strickland House, a 19th-century heritage treasure once home to ‘leading figures of Australian establishment,’ continues to host lavish events plus movie sets, and boasts a sprawling view of Sydney Harbour. Tucked behind the bush below is secluded Milk Beach where on a Thursday afternoon, I was in the company of only one other 🥛⛱
“Boardwalk to the Core”
Cloudy nights aren’t always ideal for capturing the Milkyway. Being the peak of Milkyway season tho I figured why not give it a go. Kinda came out with a dreamy effect without having to do it in photoshop, let me know what u think 🤙🏼
