You may feel tired and weary. Maybe you don’t see an end in sight to these circumstances that you’re currently facing. You don’t see anything changing, but you’re waiting for something, anything, to shift. You’re waiting for that breakthrough before your circumstances break you. Whatever you do, do not quit. Keep believing that things are going to shift in your favor. God is always working, He never sleeps, doesn’t quit, is always arranging circumstances. Don’t give up. Keep going. .

#sundayinspiration. If your recovery and sleep suffer so will your health.
You’re busy. You have no time to add any more evening to-do’s to your already short and hectic precious evening schedule.
You’re a family person, or just have so much on your plate that even reading this post threatens to waste minutes that you could otherwise be catching up on other things before hitting the hay.
Instead of me telling you to get MORE hours of sleep. Let’s focus on how to make the most out of the little time you have for a restful and restorative slumber. .
☕️ Caffeine - It takes anywhere from 4 up to 10 hours for the body to fully metabolize caffeine completely out of the bloodstream. Any hints of that potent drug and the natural release of melatonin (naturally sleep hormone) stalls or is overpowered. 👆🏻 Figure out what time you usually fall asleep (on average) and count back at least 6 hours from there and stop any products that contain caffeine. .
🍿🍦🥘🍷 🥛 - As your body naturally winds down internally for the night, so too should your late night eating or drinking. No this is not about fat loss, it’s because if your body is digesting food just before sleep, you are at a higher risk of spending less time if not skipping completely certain sleep stages like NREM (deep restorative sleep) & REM (dream sleep). .
📋 If you simply can’t get that MUCH NEEDED email sent or finalize a few more to-do’s at least two hours before bed, then this is an opportunity to see how to better organize your afternoons. Work can cause stress. Stress leads to bad sleep, period. .
📱💻 You get a pass (only once though), if you’re reading this right before bed ;). Listen the blue light emitting from your screens and devices is telling your body it’s day time which confuses the brain and the body’s natural winding down process. Reading peoples comments on posts can wait till your work break tomorrow :). #sleepquality#rest#restore#moreenergy#bettermood#qualitysleep#gamechanger
