This past week we had kids going in three directions and were short on vehicles. In order to get Clay to a specialist appointment I had to use my step mom’s car. I was so thankful to be able to use our @mifold rather than moving a giant car seat from one vehicle to another. If you haven’t heard of the #mifold , it’s a booster seat that holds the seat belt down off of a child’s neck rather than boosting them up. It’s incredible because it is compact and incredibly easy to use. My boys have taken in their backpacks several times this year and they are on my packing list for supper travel!

🌞 Here are a few tips you can use to enjoy summer and beat the summer:
🍇 Fruit can help you stay hydrated: Drinking isn’t the only way of increasing your water intake. It is estimated that we get up to 20% of our daily water intake from the foods we eat. Fruits and vegetables contain the most, with cucumbers, celery, and watermelon having the highest concentration of water.
🥛 Milk is a great way to hydrate after an outdoor workout: Some experts say drinking milk may be an even better way to rehydrate after exercise than water. Plus, milk is rich in calcium. Win, win!
😌 Meditation can help prevent dehydration: Stress causes adrenal glands to pump out stress hormones. The same glands also produce the hormone aldosterone, which helps regulate your body's levels of fluid and electrolytes. Due to adrenal fatigue during constant stress, the production of aldosterone drops leading to dehydration and low electrolyte levels. Meditation can help combat stress.
