Running came back yesterday.
The kind of workouts I'd do on a daily basis before discovering the pleasures of hiking in late April.
even this period could cross a line..And it definitely did.
I reached the point where
nostalgia became too strong to ignore.I obviously started missing running over sixty kilometres every week.
Other people never cheated on their sport habits and continued to do what I essentially no longer had time and energy for..
which got me thinking
then got me to realise
it was already too late to 'bring back' the old regime.
Busy as it seemed
Mountains won so easily
I wanted to remain in the present.
There's a good reason for every unexplainable phenomenon
but mine isn't even a question mark.
It's the fact of transformation
of growing up
of being aware of what's good for me and what's unhealthy.
So that's how my two favourite activities learned to live together.
Like they had a choice!
Yesterday was different mostly because of its distance.Running 15 kilometres outside of nature is an accomplishment for me these days.And a must if I want to stay healthy.
Thankfully they weren't run alone
which explains why the following evening not only felt warm
but somehow quiet.I guess it was Sofia being extremely welcoming and chill after another busy day of the week.
I'm going hiking.Zero percent chance of rain is a very rare occurrence.
First I have to pretend I am doing meaningful work at school though. °
WELLLL, Life is about taking chances right? I decided to go for it and enter the @mshealthandfitness online fitness competition. If chosen I’ll win a 2 page spread in @muscleandfitnesshers magazine AND $20,000 (😅) it’s probably a long shot, but I want to spread @kkwellnessconsulting everywhere. .
