A few people have told me that they had seen bon jovi live and they were actually a shit live band.
My verdict after last night was that the boys really came to play. They were awesome, but that was after the first hour where they only played their new songs no offence @bonjovi even though the tour was in the name of the new album, no one came to listen to that new stuff, i felt like i was at hillsong. But after they got that shit out of the way and started playing their classic songs they were incredible, old mate jon can certainly work a crowd and you could tell the band was loving it as much as the plebs in the crowd. Still I'm pissed you didn't play my favourite song, "always" should never not be on your play list 😡.
"I'm beyond gender," Patti Smith said before singing John Lennon's Beautiful Boy in Antwerp during summer last year.
And for now it's officially my dormant season. It's the season I'm lazy and stay inside my blanket doing be-home. At the moment I'm be-home reading Just Kids. It's the autobiography of Patti Smith about the time in her life when she was in her 20s fooling around NYC with Robert Mapplethorpe. Even though Robert had passed away for almost 30 years before Patti wrote the book, I can feel her love and tenderness for him in every word she wrote about him. It was during the time Robert was contemplating and discovering about himself on both sexuality and artistic aspects. He and Patti used to be lovers. And though later Robert had turned to be homosexual, they still loved and cared for each other very much. This book was meant to be an autobiography, but I feel that it's the autobiography about Patti observing Robert XD
Reading this and I only exclaim how pure, how young, how fearless and reckless they were! They were just kids...
