Peace. To me, peace is the opposite of stress. And I feel like stress comes so easy to so many of us. Whether it's just a tiny trigger or having a really tough day at work, it's interesting that stress comes easier than peace. .
Stress doesn't mean the same thing for everyone. It can feel like pressure, worry, anxiety, discomfort, busy or anything just not good. I feel like it's something that's so "idealized" like almost cool. We are encouraged to spread ourselves too thin, be super social and have lots of friends or always be doing something fun, and working so hard and losing sleep over it. .
But honestly that doesn't work for me. And the fact that it doesn't work for me probably just brings more stress because I'm so focused on going opposite of the norm, so to speak. 🙈
So it's my personal goal to start feeling more peaceful. And creating affirmations for peace and calmness rather than overworking and stressing. I think while being at peace, so much more gets done. And so much more happens when you're in a better mood. .
So if you're feeling stressed or overworked or just not good, maybe try switching over to a more peaceful mindset. Feeling at peace can't harm, so why not? ☯️
Off on holidays for just over a week! We're campervanning from Brisbane to Sydney and flying back. Not much of a plan other than Jenolan Caves, the Blue Mountains and visiting friends in Sydney. No plan, no worries!
As of today, the total items that I have in my wardrobe is 46 (most of you guessed it right 😄) and this already includes my loungewear and accessories. As a minimalist, I find this collection enough for me and I’m already contented. Here’s a breakdown of everything I have:
8 tees (I often wear the black shirts in the office)
5 collared (2 long-sleeves)
1 rash guard
1 sweater (I only use this few times in a year)
2 lounge shorts
1 gym shorts
1 casual shorts
7 boxers (Yes, it’s just enough for a week. 😄)
5 pairs of socks
4 pairs of shoes (I often wear the black sneakers)
1 pair of slippers
1 pair of glasses
Although minimalism is not about having neutral-colored clothes or having a certain number of items. It’s about having what you only need and you’re happy with it. ❤️
Personally, I haven’t bought clothes for a while now. But if ever I will buy a new shirt, I will let go of an existing one. One in, one out. ✨
