🌟 "I'm out of my comfort zone in a new city. Like, I was in New York for half a year. [...] It was just so juicy and everything was bright and everything was texture, texture. It was so inspirational. [...] I went from mostly producing black and white work to producing full colour work. You know, you are the product of what you surround yourself with." —@olavolo#cbcarts

I met this man two months ago. He arrived there carrying that splendid instrument on an old skateboard. Honestly I had never seen that instrument before...so I was curious to listen the man playing. When he started I was amazed not only by the way he was playing, but also by his happiness while he was doing it, in the middle of a small town, far from his country, just playing an instrument that only a few people know here in Italy.
I went to congratulate and talk to him, and he explained me that this is a well-known instrument in his country, Romania, where he has 5 other brothers, all musicians. They use to travel around Europe, playing their instruments; I asked him why he does not go to bigger cities, where he can earn a lot more money...and he told me that this is not his purpose. He just wants to make enough money to live like a musician, to be a musician, to travel by playing his instrument.
He does not want more money, he just wants enough, to be able to continue sharing his passion for music.
This is one of the most beautiful things I've heard in #2018 , and I'm happy to have this new friend, even if who knows when I'll see him again .
