Lessons learned from my first market: have a more dynamic table set-up, make multiples of items you think/know will sell, don’t expect ornaments to sell in February, get more than 4 hours of sleep the night before and put makeup on your dead looking face😂 But today was honestly great! I enjoyed the experience from my first actual market and cannot wait to do more🌸✨🖤

I was planting some new plants in the pavilion yesterday for our beautiful butterflies who arrived the day before and you know what I realized? On the shrub directly in front of me there were four or five of these little beauties and I hadn’t even noticed. I realized that Dave (one of the wonderful DBG volunteers) was right. He said that his advice to a young person would be: “Enjoy yourself because there is no dress rehearsal, this is it and it won’t happen again.” Take advice from Dave and learn from the butterflies who always make time to stop and smell the flowers. 🌸 -
If you want to follow #TheGoodPath it is best to acknowledge your #whims. What does your intuition tell you. If your walking and something catches your eye do not ignore it, #exploreIt. It is best to do this on a day where you have no real responsibility. When you literally can #stopandSmellTheFlowers. I saw a sign for helium balloons and it caught my attention. I didn’t know why but I bought one. It was raining and the balloon was behaving pesky so I tied it to a crosswalk. It took about 5 minutes to do. It was the only part of my day that had “no purpose.” Those 5 minutes would define my day.

We can learn lots of life lessons from children. They live every day with so much wonder, always exploring and experiencing. As a busy Mom, I often forget to slow down and appreciate things. I’m gonna take a cue from this little cutie and do just that! ...
Swipe left to see the outtakes from this impromptu photo shoot. There were too many cute shots of the model to choose just one 😉
• even when life starts to become overwhelming & beyond your control, don’t forget to stop & smell the 💐💐
I spy 🕵️♂️.. a squishy 🐶 he’s a wild child lately as he’s growing into a teenager/young adult. Which means that obedience training is upon us 😢 I love 💕 him with all my heart and will do whatever is best for him and us for the long run. We meet with a trainer next week 🤞to discuss the month long stay with us program. We will keep y’all updated on this part of our journey through life 😂 he sure does love ❤️ to stop and smell the flowers. We hope you beautiful creatures are having a wonderfully chill day. ✌️🐘💐🌎 #learningaboutlife#obediencetraining#stopandsmelltheflowers
