Food in travel: Farm to plate to nowhere (2/3). Another issue local farmers of Ifugao Province is facing is their younger generations. This younger generation of Igorots, also called Cordillerans, prefer to leave their homes in the mountain province and settle in Metro Manila to work instead of cultivating their farmlands and it is set to rise even further. In one of our interviews, we did for a travel magazine way back in 2011, our septuagenarian interviewee has told us that he’ll continue to work the farmland that he inherits from his ancestors as long as he can but he’s uncertain who from his children and grandchildren will take over. Thus, some of the rice terraces were left unrestored, unkempt, and unplanted. Only a handful of local farmers are left cultivating their lands during planting and harvest season.

I formed the faceted cylinder into a bowl.
This is another technique that I like, but I don't use in my normal practice.
I was talking with one of my students last week about how I work with the things I make on the wheel. I don't squish, cut, or facet anything I throw. I just like perfectly round objects.
I've tried lots of techniques, but I really just don't like to modify the things I throw. That physical modification isn't important or fun for me. I just like to throw, trim, and draw/carve. Handles and deforming and chopping up a pot are not my cup o tea.
Harvest by Duoband!
С моей стороны это заведение заслуживает оценку 10/10. Все, от обслуживания и подачи до простых деталей интерьера взывает восторг.
И Мое краткое впечатление от места? 👉🏻 Это просто что-то невероятное!
Part two..... As a person with a disability considerable effort was expended just to get there. I told him they needed to get their phones sorted and better notification systems in place.

You have a systematic problem you need to establish a notification system, social media, instagram or text. Stop pissing the locals off hiring ‘Public hours’ out for Private events. The Aqua classes are predominately frequented by older individuals and people with disabilities and only use the pool until 10.30am schedule schools for after that time. Why do we keep getting mucked around. How does this affect the incomes of our coaches offering these classes for us the locals. Will we lose their valuable expertise? I can see on social media complaints from previous years of lanes being closed to public and people still being charged but unable to access the pools adequately because of private hireage. Time to review your systems and properly consult your public that provide your jobs through our rates. Feeling pretty angry right now. 11.15am still no contact or email reply from pool management. #contemporaryphotograpy#womenartists#hiddendisability#drawing#mobileartist#conceptualphotography#artist#womeninphotography #stilllifephotography#artistsoninstagram #nzartist#newzealandart#nzart
It’s been exactly a month today, gone too quickly like candy in my house...
Here, on the first day I was looking down from our apartment, imagining the adventures that are yet to come.
It’s a wonderful feeling to summon goodness, from the unlimited source of abundance. This city knows something about that very feeling.
