This morning is as far from a pleasant summery morning as you can get, but I made some Bircher Muesli last night for something different - oats, grated apple, spices, dried fruit and water is all you need. You can make enough for one or enough for a whole family for 4-5 days in one go, whichever suits.
The kids, Mark especially, love Bircher, which makes me happy as oats are a much more filling breakfast for little tummies than toast or weetbix. Topped with yoghurt, fresh fruit, nuts and seeds, it’s the perfect start to the day. Now we just need some warmer weather...

My morning ritual.
My health and that of my family is one of my highest values that is why I start every morning with a glass of warm water with lemon and my whole food capsules.
Providing me with nutrients my body recognizes and absorbs. These were life changing during pregnancy... yes perfectly safe while pregnant and breastfeeding unlike many other products... gave me energy throughout. For the majority of the time I didn't even feel pregnant, minus the belly of course! 😉 They continue to support my health and wellbeing even afterwards while breastfeeding and beyond.
Ensuring that I look after myself means that I am better equipped to be the mother and wife I want to be. 👪✌
All my life I struggled to convince myself to have breakfast. Even as a child I would refuse breakfast resulting in my Mum handing me a carton of fruit juice and cereal bar as I walked out the door - neither of which would be consumed. I would then suffer throughout the day and make the wrong choices with my snacks and lunch opting for the quickest and most convenient choice as I was then too hungry to think. •
A couple of years ago @chelsie_thepeachylife convinced me that by introducing a healthy breakfast into my diet I would reap the benefits - and boy was she right!! I began introducing breakfast - some days forcing myself to sit at the table and struggling through half an hour or so of making the breakfast go down. But soon my hunger and snacking throughout the day reduced, my food choices got healthier and I began to introduce @herbalife products.

Today I’m playing catch-up with the #Bohoberrychallenge. My morning routine is pretty chilled currently as it’s the school summer holidays. Once term-time rolls around I’ll need to squeeze in a school drop-off (usually after breakfast and before exercise)! ☀️⏰☕️

We added 9 baby chicks to our family this past spring, and about half of them have been laying for a couple of weeks now. We have so many eggs already!
I’m not going to complain about it because, even if you don’t raise chickens, eggs are the most affordable source of pasture raised animal protein, and the most ethical. But yeah, we get sick of them.
This morning we made salsa eggs, which is the easiest way I know to cook a flavorful #Whole30 breakfast. (Just scramble eggs and add a little compliant salsa.) Usually I sauté spinach on the side for some extra nutrient dense veggies too.
I’m not sure whether the chickens will continue to lay in the winter, but we’ll surely continue to eat eggs. I’m officially on a mission to come up with new and creative ways to enjoy them!
