Gulab Jamun is always an easy way of making sweet with less manual effort. Further it is very delicious and attracts any age group. One can easily prepare 110 to 120 jamuns with 2 pkts of MTR mix.
So what’s next let’s get into the action…
Jamun mix – 2 pkts
Sugar -6 cups
Rose essence – 3 to 4 drops (if needed)
Oil – 1 liter
Ghee – as per choice
Water – 3 cups approximately.
Kitchen towel – few no’s
First start with the preparation of sugar syrup in a separate kadai, followed by balls on the other end. While the syrup gets boiled, add Kesari powder. Now, start making the jamun balls and get it fried in the oil.Once when it's fried place it on kitchen towel, then add rose essence in the syrup.
Soak the fried balls in the syrup for sometime.
Cos sometimes you just have to eat some pie. Slightly too sweet for my very particular sweet tooth but bloody good all the same. Local filter coffee from the Coorg Valley. Pie from Depth and Green on Gokulam Main Rd. Apple and cinnamon by the way 🍎
