It felt so good to get back on the silks last night after a long winter break and missing last week because of a snow storm. This definitely needs some practice and a lot of cleaning up (like pointing my damn toes!) But it was a fun thing to learn!
Everything takes practice, and you're never going to jump into something and immediately be good at it (at least most of us don't 😊), but taking a leap and deciding to try something new or different is totally worth it! So glad I started on this aerial adventure!
PS: I am sore today and silks in glasses is annoying!

I am so excited to have more wheelchair users in the dojo! And I'm blessed to be trained by a Sensei who lives the philosophy that karate is for all!! Meeting @senseitami changed my life! ♿

Between the squats Monday and yesterday I’m sore 😫😫😫 Going to rest my legs somewhat before Saturday so I can climb those 954 steps up the Tower of America’s.

25 minutes on the treadmill today (thanks Dad, because we don’t have one!) The weather has been awful so we haven’t been able to get outside to walk. Pushed it today with this run/walk and I am tired! Am I a marathon runner? Nope! But this run was a challenge and I plan to do it more often! Yaaaaas! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
