Emerging from the clouds: The other passengers in the cable car looked horrified as I awkwardly wedged my very expensive camera out of the window to take some nice photos, hoping that the $5 wrist strap I bought off eBay would hold. Fortunately it did.
When we don’t want to take our van any further up a road, we get out and start biking. This was the case on one of the roads in Wyoming that led to an area of karst we were interested in. It’s actually a pretty fun way to get to and from trailheads back to our car.
Biking down the road, Philip managed to bend a bolt on his bike seat, causing his seat to lower all the way. Fortunately, we keep a basic set of tools in our van for times like these. When we got back to the van, Philip pulled out the tools, lifted the bike up onto the rack, and started working on the seat.
