The wunderkammer in winterwonderland
A 20 minutes trainride from Oslo, there is a world of its own. At #blakermeieri, lives a rare man and a rare collection of objects, words and ideas.
Although Guttorm Guttormsgaard firmly denies to be a collector, certain objects are strangely in the habit of archiving themselves in his vicinity. Every single one of them has a story and a beauty of its own, but his very personal archiving is not so much about the objects themselves, as about the room for thought created in the space between them.
Through a long series of exhibithions under the title obs!m.fl.&m.m.m. he has presented his (non)collection in dialog with his own and other artists works.
Many of the objects can be visited through his websites obs-osv.com and guttormsgaardsarkiv.no, but to experience guttormsgaards personal approach you will have to go there for yourself.
