You might be looking at this and thinking that I've just posted 3 pictures from the same place because this is some fancy new content strategy that I'm testing out. 🙃
You'd be wrong. I actually posted my photo yesterday and THEN realised I'd just posted an almost identical one. Of course, by that time it was too late and so I thought hell, why not give ya 3 Lake Garda pics. I mean WHY NOT right? 🤦♀️
So, to conclude, no I still do not have a content strategy for Instagram (sorry @backpackersteve) and no, apparently attending a CONFERENCE ABOUT LITERALLY THIS doesn't mean that I'm going to be any less useless with this whole blogging thing so cheers to THAT guys and gals. 🥂
On the topic of blogging though, I do have a new post up all about my faaavourite place in Poland that barely any tourists go to, so if you're curious then go click the link in my bio! My writing skills are better than my Insta skills, I swear 💖

Sunsets really are my jam, and this one is a favourite of mine.
In the distance you can see the Donegal coastline. Despite what the names suggest, the northern most point in Ireland is actually in the Republic (southern Ireland) and not Northern Ireland. North or South Ireland has some of the most lush and beautiful coast like in the world.
i love deep talks, random adventures and laughing until it hurts.

🎊 It's time for packing! 💼 I don't know what about you but I just love packing my belongings together! It's a great feeling knowing that everything I need fits into a suitcase. 📋 I think I'm an experienced traveller so this isn't the first time I have to pack things for an extended period of time. I actually enjoy doing it, it has never been a burden for me. Let's see the essentials, without them I don't go nowhere: • electronic devices (phone, laptop and their chargers, headset) • books (usually about language learning, now I have a cookbook which will be a gift to my host family) • two coats and two pair of shoes (one casual and one for bad weather) • everyday clothes • cosmetics
• my papers and of course money
• if I still have some space in the suitcase, I also pack a notebook and some pen as I like taking notes and writing myself a to-do list ⚠ My luggage can't be heavier than 23 kg, so I'm going to try not to overpack it. // HU
🎊 Ideje csomagolni!
3 months of nightshifts, packing frozen pies, tears, laughter and convincing ourselves every night that we had got this. Its certainly been an experience we wont forget 👀
Never want to eat another pie or fold another cardboard box again thanks 🖐️ We got our 2nd year visa, over and out factory life 🏃♀️

Hello Mitsubishi Starwagon 😁 - I love it when I’m driving down a beautiful country road and BAM I see not one but two little beauties sitting on a lot with For Sale signs on them. Almost towed one home 😁 so much fun and I can just imagine as little campers [Delica Starwagon & Bravo].

That’s what this is about.
When we began creating @keepwomxnwild a couple of the pack members discussed an important topic.
Here it is plain and simple.
Not all “womxn” identify as “women”. Whether it be from birth, sexual orientation, race or religion (the list goes on) all womxn define themselves differently.
This is about inclusion, not separatism.
This is about love and respect for the diversity of all the WOMXN who wish to be part of this platform.
This is an awakening, a new light shining on the reality that change needs to happen.
We are all seeing that change is happening in the world of WOMXN, but this is not the beginning, nor is it the end.
No even though I am wearing white I am not in a psychiatry... I did a meditation retreat in the mountains the last 3 days. A Buddhist monk teaching how to find inner peace. I had an amazing time on that swing!

I’m a sucker for a bit of street art: I think I mostly love the colours brightening up the streets. I wandered around The Bushwick Collective in Brooklyn on Tuesday. Didn’t spend a tonne of time there as it was getting late in the day and parking myself on a rooftop with a view of the sunset over Manhattan is forever a top priority of mine, but was great to wander around and I would definitely return to spend longer exploring. There were some cool bars and banging looking Mexican food around, too, so something for everyone!

After so much time in the Balkans, I'd gotten used to Balkan culture. Food fast, coffee slow and people warm. I LOVE the Balkans and I love Balkan people and Balkan culture but oh MY had I forgotten how INCREDIBLE Italian culture is. 🇮🇹
Right now I'm visiting family in Barga, the smallest city in Italy, and I can't get enough of it. Morning cappuccinos followed by lazy afternoons in the sun with Prosecco and cheese are going to be my life while I'm here and I am SO excited to finally unwind properly after such a crazy couple of months. I am going to do all the writing and allow myself to actually breathe again after visiting 6 countries in 2 months (which, if you know me, you'll know that's INSANELY fast). I also have some crazy exciting plans for the rest of this year and if everything goes the way I want it to it's gonna be gooooood so cheers to that 🥂
Oh, and yup, this picture is in Riva del Garda and yup I'm actually talking about my time in Barga but what are you gonna doooo though
Day 89: It blows my mind how the mind changes when you see other parts of the world. I was scrolling through old photos in my phone and came across this one. A street that was recently bombarded by so many new buildings. We find it annoying and we get fed up when all these buildings go up in front of our house, when the street parking gets limited and when construction workers are constantly stopping traffic.
But now, to me this looks empty. LIKE COMPLETELY EMPTY. Like I am standing in front of a picture that someone painted because it looks to perfect and organized. I completely forgot how it looked, and writing this I truly don’t believe this photo. Like the street looks so large. The buildings look so precise. There is a sidewalk, like what?
I got so used to constant horns, cars and motorcycles bumper to bumper (literally) and potholes that you couldn’t even consider that anymore because they cover the entire road.
The past few days I’ve done nothing but visit temples and eat pad thai, and I’m not mad about it tbh 😛
Bangkok Travel Guide
~Visit the temples Wat Arun, Wat Pho & Wat Saket
~Escape the city & chill at Lumphini Park
~Take a long boat ride down the main Bangkok river
~Head to Moon Bar or Red Sky Bar for epic rooftop views at night (and one pricey drink)
~Eat pad thai at Thipsamai
~Wander around Asiatique Market for street food and souvenirs
~Avoid Khao San Road like the plague (but if you must, wear ear plugs lol)
Be sure to save this post for your future trip to Bangkok 🇨🇷 If you’ve been before, share your own faves below so others can check ‘em out! 👇🏼 #visitbangkok#igthailand
:'( actually sad at the thought of leaving this place

My unconventional way of living...
Because this is what I am, UNCONVENTIONAL!
I guess I can survive admirably in my almost perfect life drinking a twisted cocktail of happiness and madness!
I don't always have to understand
the blessings that might emerge in my life
but I can make space for them
even when I know it might come with uncovering unexamined pain
travel will do that
My life in San Diego?
It was a daily routine I had built to bypass ... push aside... ignore the shit I didn't want to deal with.
I had meetings, and speaking gigs, and friend lunches and workouts that left no room for: the anxiety, the need to "matter", the fear and pain of self worth
to be faced
my daily routine swept it to the edges of my comfort zone where it stayed
building a wall that kept out the light
but travel? well... fuck
travel slammed me against that wall sooner than I was prepared for
every day I feel like I'm discovering old rooms in my heart I had long forgotten
distant dust laden stories stuffed in the corners and the cracks
waiting to be acknowledged
waiting to be freed
Something has happened to me
I've never been more in love with a man in my life
I've never felt more free
I've never felt more joy
I've never felt more me
But I'm in the shit
I'm at the wall... dusting if off.. chipping away
The work is a mix of exalted relief and exhausting humility
because I've made room in me to love at all
travel will do that if you let it
make space in your heart for the blessings
even if you don't understand how
Today I was brave.
Like on the same scale as go out for the day with your phone on 10% and you’ve got no charger ... kind of brave.
But still... I was brave.
I researched and found an awesome gym by myself and then navigated there in this huge city.
Once I got there, I hopped into a cross training class taught IN HUNGARIAN and made new friends 🙋
This might not seem like a big deal to you ...or I may seem like a pretty independent and confident person ... but that’s the thing about everyone... we ALL have weird and varied comfort zones.
Talk to thousands of people live while a building burns behind me? NBD. Because I’ve done it for more than a decade.
Walk into a gym where you don’t speak the language and don’t want to look dumb? New. And scary.
But anyway, in my own little way, today I was brave. And I’m gaining confidence in myself as I search the edges of my comfort zone 🙋
