Views from the Ortigia castle. This place and its views made me decide to spend the whole weekend in this beautiful town rather than just one day. Ortigia is the old town of Siracusa and it might be small but there is so much to see in its winding alleys. It made me understand that I shouldn’t feel the need to see everything, but rather just enjoy the place and the moment I am in, so I had a lot of food and drinks breaks and danced with some locals.
Ivan and I are having a good day •🌥🚐💨 •
The weather is matching my feelings today which makes me feel better. When it’s cloudy I don’t feel any pressure about being outside every single minute even though I don’t feel like it, which I do when it’s sunny. The pressure isn’t coming from anyone else but myself though.
Today I had a great walk with @vantasticvegans and after that we have been chilling by our homes at the beach, having some lunch and eating cookies.
Being with these awesome people and getting so much support from you guys makes it so much easier to accept the feelings and to let them go.
The hardest part for me when feeling like this is to not be able to identify what/why I’m feeling it.
It’s getting better now though.
Today is a good day😊
Walking into today like I’m excited to be chasing those waterfalls 😍
I’m so excited to be running after some more in Costa Rica next week! I’ll be visiting La Fortuna, Jaco, and Manuel Antonio so if anyone has any recommendations for those areas, let me know please! 🤗
I’m also partnering up with several awesome entrepreneurs this week to potentially start several businesses and DAMN is it exciting! 🤩
Always remember that you are the architect of your own destiny 💕

I love that I am but one of millions of single girls hitting the road by themselves these days...Travel means freedom, it means finding yourself lost in the most amazing ways .....I live to travel ,I want to make a life of travel...and it’s possible.Travel It’s realizing that possessions do nothing but suffocate you and that happiness comes from freedom... I haven't been everywhere but is on my list
I decided to follow my wanderlust and always brings me happiness....
Goodbye Cambodia. Thank you for all the new experiences you’ve given me this past month🇰🇭
My last few days were spent at a family homestay in the small village of Banlung. A couple and their two children welcome tourists to stay at their home and give them an idea of what life is really like as a Cambodian.
The family loved sharing their cultures with us. Every night we had home cooked family dinners together. One day we actually went into the forest to collect bamboo and vegetables to make a traditional bamboo bonfire dinner.
The homestay also has a small classroom where they teach daily English classes. In Cambodia most children don’t start learning English until they get to high school. This homestay gives them an opportunity to start at a younger age if they can’t afford private school. I even got to help teach a few classes while I was staying there so that was pretty cool!
I felt welcomed as a “foreigner” since the first day that I arrived in Cambodia. The people were always so friendly, waving hello at me from the side of the street, trying to make conversation whenever they could. Through meeting some of the locals and learning about the history I have a great appreciation for this country🇰🇭
We got to Ko Nang Yuan as soon as the island opened in the morning. It's a private island so unless you're staying in the resort there, there are specific times non resort guests can visit. We had about... 15 mins before all the tour groups came and I've never seen a little island so crowded before! This picture was taken when the first few people from the tour boat jumped in the water... About 30 mins later, the water was so crowed! It was crazy! I'm actually surprised, with the amount of people that visit a day, that the beach is still clean, has white sand, and crystal clear water, but ofcourse it's so good that it is well maintained 🏖️
