Interestingly, our bodies move in multiple planes of motion constantly on a daily basis, often times under load & in unstable environments. The 3 main planes in which our bodies function are Sagital - Frontal - Transverse, or forward/backward-side to side & rotational. Incorporating basic exercises that simulate these types of movements will better prepare & adapt your body for what’s to come. Fitness tip: Less staring at yourself doing bicep curls - more functional movements. However, doing bicep curls may also ultimately enhance your appearance too :)

Some snippets from my workout today, I usually try to follow a simple plan when I'm training upper body: 4 compound exercises, vertical push/pull, horizontal push/pull, then finish off with some isolation/core if I have time. I mix up the exercises, set and rep ranges, based on whether I'm training for strength or building muscle.
