‼️ PRE-WORKOUT ‼️ ——————————————
Don’t know what to consume as a pre-workout meal/snack? Let me tell you. . . .
To exercise our body needs energy, so therefore you want a good source of energy in your pre workout meal, here I have a banana and a coffee. Banana has high glycemic index and is a fast acting carbohydrate source meaning it doesn’t take long to digest in our body and give us that bit of energy needed. 30 - 45 minutes before your session is in good time to let the food/drink digest in your system.
Caffeine is one of the most researched supplements in the world, many people consume it throughout the day to complete their daily tasks and others use it for a quick kick before exercising. You will often find caffeine in pre workout supplements, fat burners and so on. Caffeine increases alertness and reaction time, can help to increase the length of your workout as it decreases the onset of fatigue meaning you can train harder for a longer period of time. Caffeine can sometimes be used as a appetiser suppressant depending on the person.
This is generally my pre-workout meal and I hope this gives some of you an insight to what is needed. Thanks for reading. 💯🙌🏻

👉Grapes, crisps & olives
👉 1/4 cup nuts & chopped cucumbers
👉 1 rice cake with 1-2 tbsp almond butter and handful of chocolate chips.
