Ton « why »? Que te manque-t-il pour t’accomplir?

Day four! I’m convinced that photography is the best volunteer job at this gig. I get to capture all the most fun moments (but I can conveniently slip out when any little kids are crying or need to go potty.) I was behind the camera on these and @ameliacassarphoto worked her editing magic. June, 2019.

It’s dark here. The darkest day of the year in fact. In #Noosa ☀️ sunrise was at 6.35am, and here in #Hobart we waited until 7.42am to be graced by her first rays.
This afternoon the Sun will set in Noosa is at 5.04pm. It will be dark here well before that.
sunshine on a friday morning ✨💛 happy friday all! x

Fresh new batch of 35cm teak plates coming in next week.
I can never find the perfect size plate for a birthday cake, they are either too big or too small but these ones will be the perfect size.
You'll also find me using this size plate for small grazing platters when we have just a couple of people coming over. Or perhaps it will be a grazing plate dinner for two on a quiet night in with a glass of wine.
Here we have the stunningly beautiful ’Blood Lily’. The unique ball shape is made up of hundreds of tiny florets. I have these growing on my front porch as a way to welcome my guests. Pretty cool, eh!? These were easy to grow, I simply placed the bulbs in a small pot of soil and watered them every other day. Quite the transformation to watch a small bulb turn into something so magnificent!
As a gardener, and because I only eat plants and mushrooms, growing vegetables and fruit is obviously very important to me. But did you know that growing flowers is equally as important? It’s true! And as much as I love growing unique varieties like this, growing native species of flowers is of utmost importance to me and my garden! Not only do these plants grow beautifully because they are native to the area, but birds, butterflies, and bees absolutely love them. Nothing makes me happier than to see lots of activity in my garden. Especially butterflies. :) More on that coming soon.
Also, I have a fun game to play with all of you. I haven’t done this in years and I always think it’s interesting to see where all of you live. So let me know in the comments below. I love seeing how this platform can connect us from all around the globe. The person living furthest away from NOLA wins...GO!
Big thanks to @kellogggarden for sponsoring this post and some upcoming content while I build my very own organic garden.

We've all done so much growing on this trip; some of it internal, some less so. The kids' limbs have lengthened and Lewis is now nearly as tall as I am. We're now making our way south and this will be our last day of winter sun, so we'll be making a beeline for the shops once we get to Geraldton, in search of warm clothes. It's been a long, endless summer for us since we left home six months ago, but it's time to embrace winter once more.
Don't get divorced y'all, planning a second wedding ain't worth it 😂

This is where we said those three magical words for the first time.
To be totally honest, I knew I was madly in love with Conner before I met him in person. We had talked quite a bit through text and voice notes for weeks before the first time I got to feel him in real life. And two days before we met, I had a dream. In the dream, we hadn’t met before either. We were at a farmers market and he saw me and grabbed my shoulder. We locked eyes and then hugged and I melted into him. I felt at home.
When we actually met, as I was walking towards him, I knew my life would never be the same. And then he held me, and it was the exact same feeling as I had in my dream. A sense of peace and knowing unlike anything I had ever felt. He was home. That was it.
Your body knows. He has allowed me to expand and open so vulnerably over these last few months. Even in tough moments when we are working through our own stuff, I still feel completely in alignment and at ease.
Being in partnership is work. It’s building a foundation. It’s putting in the effort to better yourself. It’s being transparent. It’s laying it all out there.
I told him I loved him in a hammock under the stars in a completely silent ghost town after we laughed for hours. It was one of the greatest moments of my life.
Friday morning magic ✨
There is something special about the energy of a Friday morning. It’s relaxed and slow, yet has the tingle of anticipation and excitement 🤩
My little boy Talin’s room gets the most morning sunlight so I curl up in his little bed and do some work while he plays. It’s the best. Happy Friday guys, have an amazing day ✨ Ax .

It was a strange (good strange) kind of day where I felt super calm & at peace. Most days I have awful anxiety & worry about every little thing but today was different. The kids & I collected these leaves at the park & it felt so nice to let go & be present with my babies & with nature. I hope you got to venture out today.
Hoje demos folga para o fogão e almoçamos no nosso lugar favorito fora de casa, é um restaurante vegano super delícia as aqui perto de casa.

“Sometimes, all that separates Celtic from Christian religion is a change of clothes and gender… In their disguises, the Celtic gods are everywhere.” — The Discovery of Middle Earth, by Graham Robb
Celtic science was all but erased by Roman patriarchy and Christian extremism and often their archaeological remains have taken second place to these other cultures. I mentioned in my Circe book review that I’m not a fan of greco-roman mythology because it is too male-centric so I’m sure you can surmise how I feel about Roman history... Before the Christians were even a twinkle in Gaia’s eye, the Romans were executing their genocidal plans across central Europe and the British Isles—making the first fatal foray into ancient Northern European culture.
By studying the geography of the Celtic lands of Europe, author Graham Robb endeavors to prove that ancient Celtic knowledge of mathematics, astronomy, and geometry was just as if not more advanced than the knowledge developed by the ancient Egyptians and Greeks, as well as what was being utilized by the Romans. Even though no written record remains of Celtic science, their topographical planning, as meticulously and convincingly charted out by Robb in his book, proves their advancements in these fields.
If you’re looking for a book on Druids and the ancient Celts that isn’t weighed down with exaggerated, outdated theories, and embraces a fresh look at the archaeological and cartographical evidence available to any scholar with the desire to look, this is definitely the book for you.

I couldn't agree more! I want to encourage you all to slow down, pay attention, and look for the little miracles in your day... the day before yesterday I wrote down on my list to get eggs at the grocery because we had run out and I had forgotten to get some and yet that same night my little one came home from grampas house with a full carton of eggs from their chickens 😍 I love those little "coincidences" and signs reminding me to trust that God is always taking care of us

YOU SEE THOSE BUBBLES?!
If your water doesn’t look like this - you should be second guessing your water supply!
H2 is a naturally occurring Molecular make up of two hydrogen molecules. It’s effectively the smallest molecule in the universe, which allows it to spread throughout the human body’s cells and organs!
Molecular Hydrogen also has so many benefits for overall health and lifestyle, including...
💧improves skin quality
💧lowers joint pain
💧slows overall aging process
💧lowers muscle degenerate (osteoporosis)
💧enhances mitochondrial functions
💧 provides benefits for over 150 diseases
Thanks for having AND educating me @waterbarandwellness#molecularhydrogen#alkaline
The water itself literally taste like ‘NOTHING’. Not that familiar metal taste, strange after taste. But the feels fluffy! Yes the water feels fluffy in your mouth - that’s the H2 😄

Celebrating Caribbean American Heritage Month - (📸 @goldenflourish.co)
The Proclamations was issued ironically by George W Bush on June 2006 - I personally don’t need GWBush to allow me to celebrate my beautiful heritage because I’ve spent 30 years of being a PROUD Jamaican/Trinidadian!!! #caribbeanheritagemonth
What part of the Caribbean’s are YOU from??? Comment below :)
Another day, another salad, but this one will be the last for awhile, as our lettuce has officially bolted and become too bitter to eat. I’ll be pulling it up tomorrow and planting something new in the raised bed. Maybe some more peppers, since we eat so many!
