@theletabug crushing our waterline from today! ~10m long / 3m high, over a glorious pool of fresh Hawaiian rain forest water. Endless sets of waterfalls stretch for miles down this stream and these two spilled beautifully into a deep pocket creating a perfect fall zone at 95% of the line. Progression only happens from practicing persistence and persistently practicing ;D It’s amazing to see anyone progress— especially those closest to your heart. I was filled with stoked to watch Aleta play on this line, on-sight it, and then jump off into the water with a smile. We spent hours here today and were calling it “Kauaian left hand.” Cheers to love, progress, and the endless adventures this world has to offer. The world is waiting... chase after it! #slacklife
I’m shivering over strangely strong drip coffee in these cold cloudy limestone mountains, imagining being back in my town with my people, doing the things I love. Traveling often makes it “inconvenient” to do the things you like and be who you think you are. It’s easy in Moab for me to be outdoorsy, athletic, outgoing, mindful, vegan, a reader, a writer... From this bare bones version of yourself that is exposed in a new place and a new culture, who you really are and how you actually strive to spend your time becomes evident. If I want to be athletic, outside, make friends, eat well, write everyday, meditate, I need to work a little harder for it. Happy belated birthday Josh, I miss all my Moab friends so much! #travellifestyle#northernvietnam#moab@slacklinejosh
All things fun last night @apexsandiego !
This place is awesome!
I have been looking forward to coming here for a while now since they opened. Thanks @hake.eric for introducing me to this place & thank you for your coaching!
This year I am dedicating myself to developing body awareness in new areas of movement. Specifically to learn new skills to bring on the slackline. Between @center_for_balanced_training@fabiosantosbjjacademy@apexsandiego ... I think I have that covered now. Just need to keep having fun putting in the work. If you live in the area & love movement!
DM me & I will direct you to some great places to train!
Happy weekend everyone 😀
“Escape” can be found in the pages of a good book, found through mindful mediation, or even by accessing the beauty of flow state... Lately, @theletabug and I have found the beauty of escape exploring the vast gloriousness of empty, untouched, white sand beaches of Kauai. We’ve camped underneath the stars, stumbled upon sun soaking Monk seals, cuddled next to crackling beach fires, eaten fresh sea food everyday, and in just the 48 hours we’ve been here— the escape has led to unbridled relaxation and enjoyment. Finding joy in stillness, rest, and wondering is rejuvenating our spirits and the warmth of the sun is felt all the way in our souls. We woke up today feeling content, satisfied, and present. What a lovely start to a beautiful vacation that was much needed after the marathon ending to last year. I can’t wait to see where this adventure takes us~ In love, feeling loved, and loving life. Everyday. Thank you for everything my love~ 🙏😘🌴 #slacklife

The space beyond inspiration.
The bridge between dreams and reality.
Motivation is what you seek. +
The word inspiration comes from the Latin word inspirare. Which translates to “divine guidance.” Have you ever experienced divine guidance? That subtle voice in your mind that gives you a bright idea or directs you to the person, place, or thing that leads to where you were always destined to go. Once true inspiration hits, MOTIVATION flows. That is the next step. Take action. What are you doing to create change? Are you just scrolling through a feed of empty inspiration? This type of “Inspo” can give you a rush of excitement from seeing people do the things that you wish you could do. This is not inspiration. True inspiration will lead to motivation; divine ideas leading to action. +
When I was first introduced to slacklining 4 years ago I immediately fell in love. Then I learned about highlining. The thought of walking between two peaks made my heart race and my hands sweat (it still does, but it is from excitement, not fear - two different emotions, similar physiological states.) I thought, “wow, one day I will do that!” So I took action. I didn’t know when it would happen, but I kept showing up. There was a lot of falling (there still is), learning, laughing, and patience. It wasn’t until a few years into slacklining that I jumped on my first high line. The picture above was taken a little over a year ago somewhere in the mountains of Catalonia, Spain. I still do not consider myself a “highliner” but I made the dreams that once scared me a reality. I didn’t focus on how long it would take, but as I would walk a line I would imagine myself amongst the clouds.
Next time you are scrolling through your feed notice what posts you are gravitating towards and notice your self-talk, what are you saying? Is what you are reading and seeing providing insight and provoking thought? Or are you thinking about how you could never do this thing or look like this person? Look back and ask yourself, what has motivated you to take action in the past? Can you truly understand the difference between divine guidance and the “inspo” we speak of today?
Me perdi pelo caminho
Mas não paro, não
Já chorei mares e rios
Mas não afogo, não
Sempre dou o meu jeitinho
É bruto, mas é com carinho
Porque Deus me fez assim
Dona de mim
Deixo a minha fé guiar
Sei que um dia chego lá
Porque Deus me fez assim
Dona de mim
Me holding on to my patience as I push through this busy week..

⏰ Time is the only thing you can’t get back or get more of so stop giving useless activities and ungrateful people more of your time.

Waking up in the little mountain town of Sa Pa Vietnam, with a view of the mountains and the homestay’s little garden and fish pond 🌱🐟⛰... the air is fresh here, unless you happen to get caught behind a speeding bus, or pass a flaming pile of garbage, traditional Hmong people are selling their wares on the street carrying babies on their backs (or sometimes it’s just a young child at the side of the road collecting money for goods), and a bunch of evergreen trees were a welcome contrast from jungle and monoculture Eucalyptus trees, raised for plywood in many small villages here. #sapa#tattoosofinstagram#mountainmorning // 📷: @steezystevez
