Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji in his hands has taken a ‘Pichkaari’ (instrument used to throw color), seeing this all the Sikhs have also taken these up
The Sikhs in pure devotion are coming towards Guru Sahib and bowing at their feet
At once they all threw red color on each other, it was as if raindrops of different colors were falling everywhere
Throwing handfuls of colour in the air it seemed as if even the sky had taken on a new colour. 8.

SURPRISE, SURPRISE! Beneath our cultural, religious, sexual and economic differences, we're 99.9% THE SAME. Did you pass or fail this anatomy quiz?! We're one big, colorful, fam. It doesn't matter how you love, pray, or live.
In a follow up from my previous post and in reflection of last week's horrific shooting, I'm reiterating our need for unity.
Behind all acts of racism and hate is fear, confusion, and radicalization from rhetoric. We're better than that, we aren't puppets. -
It's enlightening to see so many compassionate posts. It's reassuring to also see such a focus on the victims, highlighting how they lived rather than fixating on how they died. -
Here's to hoping that we maintain this spirit and look at others as if nature designed them to be our equals.
(Also, I know someone is going to try to make a "congenital heart disease incidence in different populations" joke - way to be original)
PLS FEEL FREE TO SHARE AND STEAL THIS. I DID MAKE IT... I DONT PUT MY HANDLE ON MY CREATIONS BC I THINK IT LOOKS TACKY : ) #newzealandshooting #unity#allheartsarethesame#nohate#prayfornewzealand#christchurch#sikh#jewish#islam#christian#hindu#atheist#publichealth#islamophobia#lgbt#medical#health#wethepeople
I dream of an America where citizens aren’t told how they should live, how they should practice their faith, etc. .
The America I envision is possible, but it’ll take effort. It’ll take each and everyone of us to fearlessly push the limits and challenge the norm. .
Colonel Callahan of the @newjerseystatepolice very quickly understood the purpose of my Kirpan - that its not just a symbol but holds a much deeper meaning as an article of faith. .
The easy option for me is to comply and remove my Kirpan whenever I’m told. I will never take the easy way, when I was born in a nation that grants me the right to practice my faith freely. .
No one should ever dictate how a particular faith group must practice their faith... That completely contradicts everything America stands for as a nation. .
We have to set the right precedent and that’ll only happen if we are fearless in our pursuit for a more inclusive and accepting society. .
Some epic moment of movie Kesari the colour of freedom and rights never forget the sahidi of them and watch the movie as this is the real tribute and lesson for those who still think indian army do nothing for us they will get lesson then
Salute to all sikh army indian army and India government for giving us this peaceful nation to live 🙏🙏🙏 #indian#sikh#inspiration
The Golden Temple has a completely different vibe during the day than at night. There’s so much activity happening; people are bathing in the holy water, some are meditating or chanting as they walk around the temple, and hundreds of volunteers are helping prepare food that is served for free to a minimum of 35,000 people each day. Then there’s the massive clean-up operation with the loud cacophony of metal plates being washed. It’s a fascinating and beautiful place to visit. #goldentemple#amritsar#goldentempleamritsar#punjab#india#sikh#temple#travel#wanderlust#canonphotography
"Know the state of your inner being; meet with the Guru and get rid of your skepticism. To reach your True Home after you die, you must conquer death while you are still alive." (Guru Granth Sahib Ji, 21) -beautiful capture by @22gvisuals 🙏🏽
