I Get Results With My Physique Because I'm Lucky..... The fact that I continue to achieve results in the gym is not based on hard work or dedication. It has nothing to do with supplements or proper nutrition. And despite what my Dad tells me, my “superior genetics” have not given me an advantage with my overall development.
It's actually just because I'm lucky.
I'm lucky that when I first started training I didn't own a cellphone.
I'm lucky that when I purchased my first cellphone, texting, tweeting and hashtagging did not exist.
I'm lucky that I'm too old to know how to update my status on Facebook to inform all of my friends that "I'm at the gym" when I’m at the gym.
I'm lucky that I'm too smart to know that the squat rack should be used TO SQUAT rather than take a selfie.
I'm lucky that I'm not smart enough to know how to take a selfie while squatting (this practice is more common then you may think). I'm lucky that I don't know how to hashtag common words that are completely irrelevant to both our existing and potential clientele just to achieve thousands of followers and “likes” that only offer self gratification and annoying pop-ups in my news feed.
I'm lucky that I wasn't born with a mother who cleaned up after me and therefore have learned to respectively clear my own weights when I'm finished my last set.
I'm lucky that I wasn't born with a father who cooked all my meals for me and therefore have learned how to cook my own damn food and not have to rely on a Meal Prep Service company to do it for me.
I'm lucky that I wasn't raised with a sense of self entitlement and delusion thinking that results should just come to me because I show up. I honestly feel bad for the younger generation of today. With all the tweeting and hashtaging that takes place in a day, how can they be expected to get any real results with their own physiques?
I guess they're not as lucky as me......... #foreverfitperformance#vancouverpersonaltraining#vancityfitness#underarmour#imlucky#oldmanstillgotit#texting#tweeting#hashtagging#selfies#shutupandsquat
I'm starting to incorporate pause rep sets to my squat workouts. I was pretty fatigued after my pyramid sets, my bar bath was off and my pauses weren't long enough. It's definitely a work in progress but that's what makes the journey fun and worth it in the end.
This post isn’t about me or what I’ve accomplished it’s a thank you to my coach. About four months ago I was completely consumed in the Hollywood lifestyle. I was out partying every weekend and drinking my face off which of course lead me to dt LA taco trucks and bad habits. An old friend @symmetry_inc called me out one day and since then I have been on a strict meal plan(actually eating five times more than i normally did) and workout regiment that dropped 30 pounds of fat. I can’t wait to see where we end up. Thank you. #gym#habits#carnivore#shutupandsquat#symmetry#sharpening#bodybuilding
LEGS: PR ALERT!! Hit my last lifting goal of this year with a 415lb squat. It felt really smooth - I felt like I could've tried 430, but wanted to stay smart today. Also went a little more narrow in stance and hands a little tighter on the bar- this felt pretty good and I felt better more upright.
Also hit deadlifts for 365x5 for 1 set. Ive never squatted and deadlifted same day abd that was def a lot and need to get used to it.

I break up with my trainer @tarekz7 every single time we train legs. I tell him it’s not working out and that this relationship is causing me too much pain and suffering. He then laughs in my face and tells me to shut up and squat. #legday#shutupandsquat 🏋🏽♀️
