The very idea that you exist considering those extremely low odds is a miracle on its own. You see, the exact DNA that comes from your parents to create you could have only happened when your parents met, which is 1 chance in 20,000. That alone should be enough, but when you add up the fact that it has taken 5-10 million years of human evolution for you to exist at this time, in this moment, you begin to recognize just how much of an impossibility you are. 🌎✨🌊
This archaeological wonder is called El Castillo, or Temple of Kukulcan. It’s a sacred pyramid from the Mayan era, which houses another pyramid inside! Several years ago people were allowed to climb it, but they’ve stopped due to people becoming injured, and to preserve the Temple ruins. It is said that inside the pyramid there were many sacrifices performed, and it was a great honor for men to be chosen as sacrifice. This brought pride to their families. Their devotion to their God ran so deep, that they truly were ready to give themselves completely to those they worshipped. I definitely don’t think people look at faith and devotion the same way today. For us, small sacrifices such as fasting seems like a daunting task. What are your thoughts?

A rare thing happend to us in Dubai. We usually don’t favour places with lots of traffic, noise and the abundance of people clamped together
But Dubai has a vibe that doesn’t make you feel to be in a big metropolitan. We extended our stay because we loved it quite well 💕
Have you been to Dubai and recognise this?

Not being able to eat a proper meal for the first two weeks in India has made me f-ing cranky. For someone who can eat two bowls of noodles in one meal to just one chapati to last me for a day at times, it is quite traumatising. ⠀
But for now, I’m going to note down the things I’m craving for so that when I’m back home, I can start pigging out!!⠀
* lobster roll, spicy buffalo wings, laksa, ba chor mee, mala and kfc 🤤
