Meet chef Ingi "Shota" Son of @theshotasf! He is the head sushi chef of The Shota, who has honed his talents from Hashiri and Omakase. The kaiseki-style omakase makes The Shota an amazingly complete experience that I can't get enough of. Chef Shota and his staff are always a delight to dine with, to converse with, and even to share drinks with! In my opinion, The Shota is definitely a spot to look out for!

I think durian smells and tastes great! I’m not gonna try to convince you to like it, but at least try it. The custardy fruit, once perfectly ripe, is amazing! They don’t call it King of Fruit for nothing. But if you do try, don’t try it in America. The best ones are in SE asia.
