Please read everyone! Alaska Marine Coatings L.L.C. would like to bring this to all of your attention, when you support state\local business you support the economy where you live, your a part of contributing to your local economy, we made a mistake this past spring, and worked in collaboration with a company that was owned and operated out of our state and community, not saying that all out of our state companies we work with are bad, because companies like Crowley, Foss, Cook Inlet Tug & Barge, Vitus Energy, Cruz, and Lynden have been amazing to us, but there are those few, and we worked with them, and did everything we could to help them get going in Seward, Alaska, and as a result, we almost lost our business this summer for real, our business is coming back around, & Alaska Marine Coatings will overcome, but it's been a very emotional and personal struggle this summer, we would like to encourage all of you that follow our page, and especially Alaskans to support locally owned, and operated business in your community, especially Alaska owned business, a lot of these out of state companies that are in the ship repair\shipbuilding industry don't care about our state, economy, or the people that live and work in Alaska, and Alaska Marine Coatings L.L.C, would like to encourage you all to voice concerns to our local politicians, and always support Alaskan owned business, after 5 years of traveling to build our business there almost was not Alaska Marine Coatings L.L.C. coming out of the summer! #maritime#shipbuilding#shiprepair#shipyard#workboats#maritime#tugs#barges#fishingboats#cruiseboats#seward#alaska#sewardalaska#localowned#smallbusiness#familyowned#alaskanowned #907
Seward! When you can’t leave your bike, you keep going...that’s what we did! Too hard to leave our bikes, too hard to say stop! So we keep going to Seward. It was absolutely beautiful! 220km, in two days. The road to get there was just amazing! We enjoyed our last nights in our tent, wild camping between the mountains, next to the river, and a view of one of the glaciers! Just perfect! We were really emotional during those 4days in the south...realizing that our trip was almost over, that it was time to go back home! How are we going to do to go back to real life? Let’s celebrate our trip before thinking to much!;) To make sure we were on track for our flight, we had the chance to have amazing 'warmshower' hosts who met us in Seward to give us a lift back to Anchorage, after picking blueberries!
Seward!
