Just a reminder to check up on that friend that is always checking up on you.
When you’re constantly venting to your friend about your problems it’s easy to forget that they have their own problems too.
Just because they’re always there to lift you up when you’re down, doesn’t mean that they have it all together. It doesn’t mean that they don’t sometimes need a friend too.
So, go check up on someone you love and remind them that you’re there. Remind them that you care.
When is the best time to make yourself a priority?
When is the best time to decide to make a change?
When is the best time to show yourself some love?
When is the best time to take care of you?
Scramble the word NOW.
You get OWN. Own it.
Own your life. Own your choices.
You get WON. What would it mean to you if you won the day? What might be important to make that happen?
Consider the word NOW.
Day 2 of @actbelongcommit 12 ways to #actbelongcommit this #Christmas
15 December: Giving
Giving is good for you and for others.
Make a difference this festive season by organising a charity collection with your family or workplace. It can be as simple as providing tinned food to a homeless shelter, collecting presents for disadvantaged children, taking old towels and bedding to an animal shelter or making a monetary donation to a charity of your choice.
Here’s some other ways you can give this festive season:
Start looking for things you love about your appearance when you glance at your reflection - your shiny eyes, your glowing skin, your beautiful smile because it will stimulate the reward system in your brain. Remember, Beauty and confidence are strongly linked, sometimes more than we realize 😉 .

SEVEN days of tips are coming your way💗
This is without a doubt my favourite time of the year 😊 The cool nights, snowy ❄ landscapes, the magic in the air and Christmas coziness galore! And even though the child-like excitement can work to recharge even the most exhausted elf in us all, there can come a time when we can easily over-do it! 😥
With the year winding down, many of us feel the pull to tie up loose ends, fill our calendar to the brim, and fall victim to trying to perfect each holiday moment. It’s easy to get carried away, forget our boundaries and neglect our self-care.
BUT have no fear 👍 I’ve compiled my top 7 reminders to keep from Holiday burn-out❣ ✨Take care of yourself over the holidays. It’s the best gift you can give yourself and everyone you love✨

Here’s a question 🧐 that often doesn’t get addressed in your average Yoga Teacher Trainings 🧘🏼♂️ or in exercise classes 🏋🏼♂️...
How should your classes/practice sequencing, mindset, vibe, etc change based on the time of the day? 🤔
Perhaps it’s easier to contextualize it with:
How is your body anatomically/biomechanically different in the morning vs night? 🤔
Think about what activities commonly come before each...
👉🏻Then how would you prep and prepare someone/yourself to return to a more neutral state?
👉🏻How can you get yourself/others back into a more neutral state so they have more options & opportunities when they exercise/yoga?
Last week had a lot of awesome comments and discussion based around a similar concept of environment, this week let’s be more temporal in our ponderings.
Really looking forward to some of your answers and sharing of this one. Please feel free to ruminate, comment, discuss, & share the above! (That’s the intention of #philosophyfriday 🤓).
I’ll share some cool spinal anatomy on Monday to help foster a better understanding of how your body is quite anatomically different morning vs night & my mindset of how best to prepare people for yoga & exercise based on that! 🙏🏻 #loveyoga
