Xiamen, China 🇨🇳 The very first place @_evharris and I traveled to.
One month after we started dating, we began our 5-week trip to Indonesia with a little pit stop here.
This was where I discovered he beauty of the long layover. ✈️
We had 24 hours to explore this cute fishing town. This temple was our first stop. ⛩ We hiked up to the highest point in the city past worshippers and suited men on their lunch break to get to this view ♥️.
This town doesn’t get a whole lot of (or any) tourists and locals kept stopping to take our photo 📸.
Layover tip: If possible I always opt for the longest possible layover. Many airlines provide hotel accommodations and it allows you to explore an additional city. 🗺
🇨🇭 Blausee where once, one lost love cost a person their life, but maybe opened someone else’s heart up to a new one! The lake Blausee is one of the hidden gems of Switzerland! I was very captivated by its beauty, and the colors of the water are mesmerizing. The specific time when I was there, I would say it was a turquoise blue lake! However a person very dear to me said, that it actually depends on the sun, as it rises during the day the lake’s color appears to be more prominent as it changes its colors and reflections, and that could provide a great opportunity for some stunning images, so if you have the time, spend a few hours at the lake, try and take photographs from different points at different times of the day.
Back to the lost love in this lake! If you take a good look into my capture (right side in the middle) you will see a small bridge that looks out on to the lake. Look out for a statue of a women in the water, this has been positioned there to symbolize the legend of a young women that committed suicide in the lake after losing her love..the legend goes that she used to visit the lake every day and cry into the water from the bridge and her tears are what gave the lake it’s turquoise color. Wouldn’t this legend make you go and visit this breath-taking place? A question only you, can answer.....🤝

Okay so it’s actually the shores of Fallen Leaf lake in California 🤗 but the lush forests and beautiful mountains remind me of home ❤️⛰ Spent this last week in Spokane and it got me missing the Fall season 🍁🍂
Camper Tip: Fallen Leaf Lake has the best campground at Lake Tahoe. Besides this view you’re also hidden away from the hordes of people visiting during peak season. It’s the perfect private camping setting ⛺️ and located just a 5 min drive from Emerald Bay!
It’s Sunset Sunday! Where is your favorite place to watch the sunset? 🌅
The Greek Isles are definitely at the top of our list! But we think Mykonos is highly underrated because Santorini gets all the hype. There are some absolutely incredible views all around the island and this is just one tiny glimpse. I don’t think a single night went by that we didn’t sit on the coast for a sunset view. Can you blame us? PS - this photo has NO FREAKIN FILTER OR EDITS.
Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky.
It’s interesting that everything we do is for the purpose of altering consciousness. We look at photos to invoke emotion. We read other people’s captions to think their thoughts. We walked to the edge to feel the rush.
it sounds so sweet with the sun sinking low
the moon's so bright like to light up the night
